Hey guys, I know it's been a long time since I've been on this board, but right now I'm in the midst of starting my BA Thesis for my graduation in 2008. As of this point, my thesis is going to be about the Luftwaffe, and I'll be narrowing it down later. Right now, though, I'm going to be on the search for a lot of primary documents about the Luftwaffe's operations in the war. I know a lot of you guys are really into the history of this on top of the game, and I've seen some primary documents floating around on this board before. My question, and this goes out to anybody here, is where did you find most of your primary documents? If anyone can give me a hand just pointing in the right direction, I'd be really appreciative! Thanks!
well u could put in ur paper that it was lost in the midst of the chaos of ww2 that hitler was a great banjo player
Try http://www.luftwaffe.cz , lots of info about german aces , and you can check their sources. Also try in targetware forums they seem to have a lot of original info about planes and other stuff
I find the bibliographies of history texts to be extremely useful. Why re-invent the wheel? Sorry, afi. I bet this already occured to you.
Haha yeah it did but it's fine. I've been looking at those, but a lot of them tend to rely on other people's work, and I'd prefer not to have to find a lot of obscure books when some other people probably have the quicker route. Thanks anyways! @ the others, thank you!
