Also I have an idea of how to get some more people to play the game I would do it myself but I dont know how, but my idea is to put an ad on onrpg.com at the top I go there myself and most of its teens and up like me but hey nothing bad wth brining a fresh new batch of pilots to the table:cheers: .

    The insults make more sense when one understands the context herein or wherein or something.
    There are many off topic subjects in this forum.

    Welcome to WBFH, have some fun playing the game.

    Ya prolly won't see me. I use a Linux Box, no Windows, windows went out the window. FH Launcher doesn't work in linux, any flavour of Linux, whether through an emulator or smashing things in a rage, it doesn't work.
    I do not any longer think the head-aches of Microsoft are worth a pinch o' coon shit. I like to play games, but I won't have my hardware stop working properly for no good reason other than a faulty operating system.

    Vista = $345.00 [canadian]
    Ubuntu = $0.00
    Fedora Core = $0.00

    Time on line using Fedora Core and, sometimes, a nice graphical desktopdesktop without a reboot? = 212 days and counting.
    Spyware = 0
    Adware = 0
    can I copy it and give copies away? Yes.
    Can I install it on more than one machine. yes. Install it in your toyota if you wish. It is prolly already in your cell phone and the lottery ticket terminal at the local crack house.

    Does Linux run windows software? Oh sure. And a toyota will run if you put kerosene in it.

    Soon, Microsoft will secure commercial rights to the English Language, sea water and hair.

    Anyone reading this who has figured out a way to make FHLauncher run under Wine, Linwine, Win2lin, Win4lin, Win5lin, Crapola etc?
    Post The Way.
    No, I am not interested in Microsoft Word and don't give a FUCK about running it under Linux.
    But I wish to run at least one windows game that I miss.
    But I won't keep MS in this machine just for a game. I did that for far too long...

    I don't recall mentioning WB in that rant.......
    That's nice. I can run WB in Linux also. It only looks a little terrible in 2d. Not very very terrible, just a little terrible.
    However:
    I cannot run the FHLauncher.
    Which means I cannot run WBFH from within Linux.

    Who on earth defines this stuff...?
    Warbirds is a direct descendant of one of THE FIRST MMOGs. And, seeing as when you log on, you choose a nick and when you fly, you can interact with others and you can develop a style all your own, uh..... ROLE PLAYING, right?
    Or is role playing now all about faeries and dwarves, goblins and a lot of other things directly ripped off from JRR Tolkein?

    Have fun and remember that Online Air Combat is a small minority of computer gamers and we are picky, demanding and a little older than the average fantasy gamer. Just a bit.
    My son, sitting here, says he has met few people who play Warcraft who claim to be fifty+. Oh, what's that he said?
    [edited]he has met few people who play Warcraft who claim to be twenty+
    And too, he says lots of online players are 'lying cocksuckers.'
    hehe, he talks like his dad. I am so proud of him, when he isn't being a thieving coward with a spray can and
    [quickly, dad hits the BOSS key]
    In WB you will find MANY players who have raised families. This is not to say they act mature like grandpas when online, if they had to, they wouldn't play online, they would just go lawn bowling.

    Welcome james.
    Bear with us morons in the forum, at least it's only mildly annoying stuff going on in here, compared to the serious asswhippin and whining in MA ;)

    <edit>
    Nah, no bother. After how your pals at mmmmmorpgrstfu forum replied to your post, I guess you could stand what ever FH forum can kick your way ;)
