Hi While back, while in primary school we used to make Rubber string powered Blaza model airplanes that will fly forever if you make it good. Now I am trying to find a technical drawing 'blue print' of that kind of planes. I have tried to google on it but nothing came up. Anyone to help...
probably you mean balsa http://www.profili2.com/eng/plans.asp anybody has any idea on where to find or create propelers for rubber powered planes? i created a rubber powered plane some years ago but never flew it
cut out propeler from wood ( it will be flat ), then put it in to hot water or hold it above turned on stove to heat it then twist it in to desired shape, ( propeler shape ) hold it in that position and let it cool it down. Equaly using same technology you can bend any wood, bamboo or rattan in to any shape you want. Yeah you can use bamboo to make prop since it strong like steel but much much lighther. I used to bend pieces of bambo to make out curved Arabic ( not composite ) bow. It works like charm trust me.
