Heya, Bullet, ain't you happy this guy loves you so much, he knows what college ya go to and what yer address is? I often wonder if we should go find this lovely guy and [deleted] him.... I mean that in a nice way, of course, you know, like st patrick's day or fine plastics.
Maybe I am mixed up. I don't really know who here is what, except that there is at least one creep here who collects details about users here, like college alumni, street names, names of nearby airfields, yer mom's name...stuff like that.
He kinda forces you to stay sober, so you don't accidentally post nude pics on the internet, doesn't he?
Is it FM? Seems weird, FM is susceptible to Doppler effect frequency changes due to high speeds of the receiver/transmitter. Airline airplanes use old fashion AM radios, due to said effect.
The digital radio saves about 100 lbs of weight, which is why it is an uber plane. Digital NAV/COM radios are nice because they hardly ever fail, but they're a pain to tune. I end up pushing all sorts of buttons to tune in a new COM frequency or select a new VOR. Don't get me wrong, they are fairly intuitive, but I like my old tube radio that had a knob for the COM side and a knob for the NAV side. It gave me something to do in flight when one of the tubes needed replacement. About modulation, I think al got something right for once. Even though the COM radio has a frequency range of 118.0-135.975 MHz, it is still an amplitude modulation radio. The NAV side runs from 108-117.95 MHz and is AM, but oddly enough I've picked up a radio station or two while homing in on a VOR. It was slightly irritating to identify that VOR station, but I could do it once I got far enough away from that silly country radio station.
Thanks Rain, They are nice pics but I wish I had a great camera with huge lens so i could get the fantastic fly-bys. This was the Geneseo airshow and they have no runway other then a grass runway much like those used by the RAF in WW-II. So was only prop planes at this airshow. Although they did have an F-16 fly in and show what it can do and did a heritage flight with a P-40 to honor past and present aviation. on others posting in here I have no idea what you are talking about. Perhaps my car keys, inhaler, and shit load of coins will get peoples imagination going. It is very hard to take a good picture with a ton of people around and frontal pictures are even more difficult. they had this rope/borderline about 5ft in front so I could not getthe whole aircraft in the frame I really wish i had a nice camera. I could have had a ton of fantastic pics, but the camera I do use is great for close range pics. I'm glad you guys like the pics. The cockpit one is a SpitIX. <S> all bullet
What's your point? I love doing that shit. I don't care. Does the guy by the p-40 care? [probably not, bilesy]. NO NO NO, I mean does the guy by the P-40 care about his [deleteds]? I bet he does.

Thanks marvis, We had a big turn out of Canadian planes being so close to Canada. Harvards the Spitfire and Hurricane and Bi-planes. <S> bullet
