Possible Vista +wb solution?

Certain guy in arena today claimed that he has solution for
Vista+warbirds keyboard problems.
He claims he notified Exec about certain fix on wb.exe , and Exec told him
that he will check it up.
Problem is, guy hasnt been able to communicate via forum, because for some reason his account is still not authorised.
Any admin, or anyone of authority here knows about this?
Pls help .

 

we had some problems a while back with accounts not authorising and the cause was people were not receiving the confirmation emails

from what I remember archer had to manually resend them and then it worked

so mby if the dude still can't post in a few days (two weeks ) , PM archer

Problem is, u probably got it in spam folder.

Finally got this forum stuff sorted....

Yes; I put together the fix for the keyboard/mouse issue.

- The patch works for vista/7 32bit at the moment.

- We will need to compile the same fix for 64bit machines (I dont have one) and will probably be made a download/patch or an update later.

- The fix is just a proxy dll that properly calls one of the functions used in the .exe file.

- The fix is safe for windows XP users.

- Will be available when the server gets updated with the new .exe CRC.

 

Finally the copy of vista I have in a cupboard is good for something.
btw, um, when will this patch be available?

i have a problem: i can't catch new version from server to allow it.

because server already allows it...

extract to warbirds folder, select appropriate exe and rename it to default filename.

if you have problem taking off with system bluetext warning, please report your nick to me.

this patch is safe for winxp, so you can apply it anyway if you want to.
