I've searched the forum but came up empty.
Id like to know what apps are used to create 3d model, cockpits, flight model.
It would be fun to create a plane for offline use, get it fine tuned and submit it for online use.

    Thanks!

Ask developers, but it's usually very hard to get the tutorial from them.
Tell them you would you like to know how to create a new Pe-2 for example.

Seriously, this link may help you.
    http://paginas.terra.com.br/servicos/nicae/
See the bottom of the New Aircraft section.
But still it would be wise to mention a version of Pe-2 or I-153 before you ask devs for any advice ;-)

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping someone had an idea of what apps to use. I checked nicae's site, which states "if you want to learn more goto monsters site". Monsters site is no longer up. Anyone have a fresh link?

Im not complaining that the game needs new aircraft. I'm a computer guy, and I find it interesting in being able to make a new aircraft.
    Thanks again for any replies.

Use the FOO at off line if you want a plane you will make. FOO is resume for everything we desire in a plane and that we will make anyaways if possible.

Is there in this forum any cockpit creator or any experiences?:help:

    rtfm?
    http://wio.ru/aviasim/wb3d-mod.htm

as for palette depth, it depends on certain editor you have.
e.g. paint shop pro 4: menu\colours\increase(decrease) colour depth

Quick question from me, what program do you use to open the 3d model, and be able to make a new paintjob for it? e.g. open f-4f's file and change its colour scheeme from blue, to green?

that program is authored by richi and is in possession of pyrcus.
the problem in distributing this software is that cheaters can change camo to bright colors.
the other problem is that software is "user hostile"

rgr mate, the only reason why i asked, was cause alot of ppl were wondering (dunno about now) why there was an american aircraft in TA (the f4f3) before the end of 1941, thought it might be a cool idea to change the colour scheme so it represents a martlet instead :)

@ roland... lmfao, im all out of yellow glasses atm mate
