Welcome to Target Rabaul Warbirds Campaign

Dateline: the South Pacific, August, 1942

Pearl Harbor. Midway. The Coral Sea. The first year of the war in the Pacific is drawing to a close. In the jungles of New Guinea, Japanese forces are poised to launch a major advance on Port Moresby. Meanwhile, sleepy Japanese bases on the little known islands of Gaudalcanal, Tulagi, and Gavutu are about to discover they are the focal point of the first Allied counterattack in the Pacific. Japanese victory in New Guinea could lead to the fall of Australia. Allied victory will save Australia, and open the way for Allied Forces to launch attacks on the Philippines and upon Japan herself. The fate of an empire hangs in balance as the air, ground, and naval forces of the Allied Nations prepare to meet the full strength of the Japanese South Pacific forces head-on, at a place called Rabaul.

    Hi hot!
There is any fixed number of pilots?
    There is any enlistment?
if yes, count me and alemao as Showa L2d pilots, I can lead if noone wants this job!

    Hi :)
No fixed number of pilots, but... ONE LIVE ONLY FOR ALL...
No enlistement, only fly with a plane would you like.. ( remember, one live! )

Sry, but I'd like to refresh the memory of the brazilian guys that 05/14 in Brazil will be the "mothers day", so some of us maybe have problems to be there on time! :)

    - I don't think it's necessary for realism, it doesn't matter very much. Besides it's much nicer with kill messages on, the play's more rewarding when u actually know who u shot down and people can see u're a good pilot :)

i, for one, would like this as an experiment. IRL, counting the killed, damaged and probable killed was a difficult and important task :)
i'd like to use the confirmation methods they used IRL, like testimonies from a fellow pilot :)
