well here's for you all whiners ,no intention to say anything just cold fact(ing) numbers) Salute all great 'enemies' (hehe) and friends in FH foreva
forgot to mention that those 109f2's 15mm guns rip the wing of of f4f or spit with 3 of 'em any time hehe just compare f2 and f4 and maybe spit 1 and spit 2
data ya forevereverdatarequesting ppl i was testing these birds too and come across some interesting results too one which surprised me most: 360° degree sustained turn Bf 109 F-2 20 seconds Spitfire IIa 22 seconds for comparison RL and FH (speed and climb data)RAF testing data of Spit IIa -- in feets and miles of course
109f2 is incredibly maneuverable but I don't think it's more maneuverable than spitVc (although some tribal outflown and shot me few whiles ago in messer). Only problem with spit is that it needs perfect trim to handle smoothly in sharp maneuvers while 109f flys "after the hand". Buying new potentiometers for my joy tomorrow and will test it too.
marginal diff between f2 and f4? who the fk needs spit2a in real combat? still just thoughts as for comparison for armament @stec , my mentor got optical a/d converters here ,so no need to mess with potentiometer sheet. Upgrade PS. and don't call yourself a cunt hehe
Today I was lucky to outfight corpse in some hard manoeuvres (Salute corpse, btw ! ) I was spit 5, he was 109F2. Sharp turning, rolling sciscors and so on and I managed to score oil leak on him starting from disadvantageous position. Couldn't pursue because of fuel leak and another 109 on me , but IMHO spit 5 can surely hold his own against F2 and fight on at least equal terms
Be sure, that 109F-2 IS more maneuverable and is faster, is better climber, only in hi speeds Spit turns better. Sou if you alone in Spit5 meet 109F-2, will be better bail.
If its 1940 there are no 109fs. You should compare Spit I vs 109e then. In timeframe comparisons go... 1940) Spit I - 109e-4 early 1941) Spit II - 109f-2 mid 1941) Spit V - 109f-2 late 1941) Spit V - 109f-4

Here for easy reading comparisons of average best turnrates. (sec) Spit I vs 109e-4 18,4 - 22,7 Spit II vs 109f-2 20,4 - 18,8 Spit V vs 109F-4 19,5 - 20,4 I-16t29 vs 109f-2 16,4 - 18,8 I-16t28 vs 109f-2 (pair of shvaks makes small I-16 quite performance drop) 20 - 18,8
Re: data ya forevereverdatarequesting ppl Yup, RL production Spitfire II had 22sec turn. (Good pilot can make better, check Mcgrus numbers) If you want source we have to wait for Ho-Hun to reply. 109f-2 turn times come from soviet tests IIRC. That suprised me too. One would be better off in Spit 1 against 109f-2 when turning.
illo are u jocking? its 0,4 s only how many turns , must make spit 1 to sit on f2 tails? if 109'spilot is not so stipid and not push wep and run from him in safe range /d3-d4/ lol looks like best defence manuver for spit pilot when 109 sit on his 6 should be 3x enter ramzey
Terve, jacobe. Im twisting exactly what? Please show me where I posted something incorrect. Im quoting clear numbers tested by other people. Why? I want to keep you guys informed. If it makes me asshole, then fine. I can shut up too. But I wont take any sides here. NEVER. Understood?
