I haven't had a change to really test them out yet, but so far they sound great.
Mind you I only install you originals a few weeks ago, and they blew my mind.

    Keep up the good work.

I must semi-agree on the stall sounds.
In the modern GA trainer that I was learning in the stall sounds are On or Off. No, halfway in between.

I will ,when I some free time, research if ww2 planes even had stall warnings and if so, how they worked.

I have stall warning diveded as follows

jap, US, USN, ger, BRI, rus

I tried using a rumble sound instead of a stall horn, but it wasnt very good, maybe I will make on now :)

So far on my internet / google.com search I've found nothing to indicate ww2 planes had stall warning alarms.

    I'll keep researching it.

I enjoyed your sounds, however it was very confusing for me - I am accustomed to fly be feelings, so any change of my rigid system creates chaos ;)

I didn't like hit sounds... the original one were better for me - i can't distinguish mg from cannon hits and hits from pursuer from flak hits.. my ability to turn the sides or successfully evade when being shot at was lowered to zero :)
all i heard was burst.. no matter how many hits i got

ad stall horns... well i like the original better - but only because of habit... yours are ok

ad british&american 7mm - are your sounds realistic.. i mean did it sound this way in the cockpit? I'm curious because i find them very nice... but not so .. um... dangerous sounding.. as the ones i had before (i always had feeling of bullets working as a saw on the enemy plane when i heard them.. yours sounds like dum dum more.. um.. srry for my inaccurate expressions)

well and I didn'T like the oscillation sound of some engine.. p40 was it i think ... it was just too disruptive for me

ps: nice work.. really good sounds!
    ------------------

vh-dao: many planes had stall horns - I recall some document where was written that british spitfire pilots where removing their stall horns because they were too sensitive
and some test reports where british pilots pointed at the fact that FW190 had no stall horn which was very traitorous - because of easiness of "gettospin" in FW

    well.. that is question, gahis
point 1 - they used incendiary ammunition which was far more effective than german. ground tests of this ammunition showed 100% probabilty
(sheet of duralumin an inch thick, at 200 yards range, with a half-filled two-gallon petrol tin placed six inches in rear of the burster plate)

point 2 - at very close distances (50 yrds and so) 8 browning worked as a saw.. if they were aimed at one location.. they just cut it

and my original sound of 8 brownings had been evoking me this type of detructivness -- with its RoF it sounded like one sound.. burst.. not just separeted dums

this was was i meant :)

um, I make sounds, but I dont make the aircraft, I know what you mean, and I had a sound like that before, but it was very distracting
