?Redoing the Midway Battle?, a multi role/coop event. Let?s fight in a historical scenario like the originals commanders could have other opportunity to do it. The objective of this new propose is to give for CO?s more freedom and for pilots differents expectations without to live a historical coherence. All the event happens in the Midway map with the same units and objetives that the real battle. The change is that we won?t follow the same routes (including the fleets!) and flight plans since this will be decide by the CO?s and Officers during the game. For a limited period and in a limited area each team will be able to select the priority, the sort of planes that will be used and how the missions will be done. There will be two planes (or more!) for each pilot, so if they die or jump in the enemy territory, they will have a second chance to keep in the game. The project include the use of Tabajarahost, so we will have all of its special features. Wingmans for Bombers (command ?.wings?), Night Flight (10min after the firsts 40min), Friend Collisions (after take off) and others will be in use during the game for add news variables for the teams. The date of the event is 07/may and the time will be fixed after the poll in the TabajaraHost/forum. The registration will be able to done here soon. Check the site: http://www.meiradarocha.jor.br/index.pl/midway2 PS. Post your doubts/comments here.
Is a CO able to take a plane to fight in a unity or is he assigned to the cv deck? What technical mission is the CO job? (drive cv?, order flights?, radar cheking? radio operation?) if it's all that, the CO must be very easy and experinced with game, keyboard and computer to not be BZ in 2 min.
1) Yes, if He desire. 2) planning fleets routes, planning attack, planning defense, he can assign other ppl to do other jobs, like those you mentioned. 3)rgr! he must keep aware of all combat and order his pilots according to the battle...
Tigrou- its undecided time- fuck off. You do enough back stabing in MA anyway= what do we expect from you this time? Crashing into friendly planes?
Don't mistake Tigrou for Tigrao... I know how everything thats further than one inch from your nose starts to clutter together into one big whole, but please, at least make some effort to see some distinction will you? <Z>
1) Good explanation Vibora! The job of the CO and his Officer is exactly this; 2) Now we'll folow the -exec- instructions, so all the details will be informed in scenario/forum, thread "time of the midway event map", and the registration will done in tabahost/forum in a specif thead that will be open when we fixed the time; 3) I hope that a misunderstanding between tigrou and allsop has to be cleared; 4) The THteam are working hard to fix the little problems identified in the last events. The only way to check their progress and test that interesting alternative is playing, so let´s do it! 5) The RULES was added in the site: http://www.meiradarocha.jor.br/index.pl/midway2 Pls, read the rules and vote in the poll. BB. Hilmar.
i like these procedures for enjoying all the parts of mission, we can test it sometime in TH with full night cv landings. it will be fun
We have 13 votes in the poll, so vote! We need your opinion and your comments, that can be posted in the Scenario/Tournament Forum. Tigrou, maybe we'll make some teste this sat. (landing procedures too), but we'll confirm this. bb Hilmar.
Thxs for xiru, xucro, beryl, elso and others that help us with the tests in this last sunday! TH's worked well and we could to check points like: take off procedures (Ok), drones wingmans (Ok), and discos/warps problems (Ok too, but the THteam will continue to work hard). Sunday we've checked the host with something like 5 guys and 10 drones, maybe in the next days we do it with more planes in diferent ways! Vote in the poll (Tabajara Host Forum), 23 guys done it until now! BB. Hilmar.
