I was thinking it would be nice to have maybe a 30 second dealy after the reset. This would give guys a chance to land and the troop carrier a chance to not be captured.

I have nothing against the way it is now and your proposed changes too

I like the idea. It would also give you a fighting chance to get enough distance between you and your (but soon to be hostile) field just before the field changes sides. I've been killed on take-off more than once because my field suddenly decided to defect to the enemy.

aaaah, we are looking for an errors everywhere :D

30s or nothing is the same ;) yes, i lost some streaks because of reset (low fuel then or pk by ack on runway) but that was only my fault, so i think that this is not our main problem here ;)

No, it's not the main problem ... but it certainly would be an improvement.

Then why did you vote against it? Unless you feel that realizing this idea and fixing the RPS / score pages are mutually exclusive ...

By the way, I'm not sure if this should be multiple choice. Yes or no is a pretty simple choice, right?

You've said yourself that it would be an improvement, but now you claim it's a waste of time!? This smells of female 'logic'. :p

life is about prirorities, i agree that this is improvement but admins have not enought free time for the more important things so this "problem" is only waste of time now, in case that admins will be bored, ok, let's change reset delay problem :)

Wouldn't this allow a tank to get far enough off field to sit there and shell the field when it pops back up as an enemy field?

Well, there is nothing that stops you from doing that now.

Using a tank for that is silly! Up an Li/Ju and drop a commando for that, please. Also, at time of writing I noticed 84.62% yes vs. 30.77% no. Maybe we should work on eliminating spies in the polls first. :p

I think the 30s delay would be quite nice, because I'm tired of getting stranded in the middle of gold fields because some dumbass forgot to tell the rest of the red world that they actually managed to get their Li-2 across the map to capture a field for the reset, let alone mention something about attacking a field after repeated questioning. Thank god for the B-24 and the pilots that can close big fields in 3 passes with them, but it's kinda stupid when people don't give fair warning about it after you spam the same questions for five minutes. Maybe we should work on getting the radio bar to be more user friendly (figure out how to get people to use that random assortment of letters in front of them most commonly known as a KEYBOARD!!!! :turret:)?

    Also...

Perhaps a better solution is a real COMPLETE reset?

Everyone gets sent back to their respective bases without being killed or losing their streaks, if any.

That would actually be even better. It would also be an effective counter measure against the winning side keeping its strike package above the field to recapture it once more.
