not only Airbus have problems to launch a new plane ... http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2003744076_787gaps12.html
how much of the plane is composite materials? also, shit is a composte. did they make it out of pure shit?
What is the big deal? Was it a slow news day so a journalist was told to pull something out of his/her ass? Great Huge Machines made of millions of pieces, each with +- tolerances, when fit together, often DON'T fit together. I wouldn't trust a fucking Journalist to represent the way things are accurately. In the world of engineering, tolerances are pretty tiny. In the world of Journalism there are no hard and fast tolerances.
you know, instead of shit, they should make it out of vagina. not one i've me yet that couldn't strech itself out accomodatingly.
Not really a big deal. Do you know what the parts acceptance rate was for the SR-71s? If memory serves Kelly Johnson's book says it was something like 3 to 1 , that is out of three parts made two were rejected.
civil and military projects will be handled very different in technical and commercial matterns everone in this bussines know, that if u have to manage workshare u must commit your interfaces first and this includes a method to verify that geometric parts fit together imo this problem shows the high time pessure of this project all proplems will be fixed but it needs time
reactionary euros and americans that hate boeing and airbus are idiots. its a good thing for all that none of them have anything to do with aviation except as spectators cheering for their favorite team
