Just one simple question for you: Let's suppose it is a scam. Do you think we should continue living as we are now, or should we try to live in better harmony with the environment and reduce our footprint on it?
We should live in harmony with our needs. We don't like smelly fumes? -- Let's produce cleaner energy, cars, factories, because we don't like fumes, not because of non-existent human-induced "Global Warming". More of that, all those hundreds of millions of euros and dollars should be redirected to real problems and not to those sucked-off-the-dick CO2 "fight the wind" programmes.
I'm not convinced man-made global warming is the problem it is portrayed as, but I'd rather not run the risk of being wrong on that one, so IMO the hundreds o millions of euros and dollars are mostly well spent, especially since reducing our environmental footprint will very likely also make us more efficient on many sectors.
At the very minumum, they should at least mandate that the "super duty" diesel pickups we see driven as grocery getters are equipped with downturns on those huge pipes that point directly at your face while you sit next to them at an intersection.
