I don't seek, but still have intense thrills by mistake or chance or others' doings [mistake or chance or a god damned bastard]. And those thrills have given me a lifetime of memories. It was the thrill of my life to be attacked by a bear and to escape by a hair. I wouldn't go back there. Baggins already knew about and despised adventure and he knew it would come to him, as it comes to everyone. He knew too, that later, with his chair and his smoking pipe and children running around him, he could tell them stories. He still really didn't ask for it nor want it.
When I was a kid, my friend's dad met his demise. I think the phrase "fell into a hopper" will make any man wince.... Ineresting.....
