certainly they had more players ten years ago, and the challenge is to make them fly again. There are compatibility issues, lack of equipment and is very good to have 18 in game.

Something extremely crucial, in my view that should be mentioned.

I have been making settings changes and realized one thing I took for granted and forgot about. TRACKS!! When taking off, the launcher will automatically generate a ".record last_sortie" . What this does is start recording your sortie for playback later when -xela- or turbo- etc shoot you down and you wonder....what the??!! just happened? Well, if you take off again in a hurry to go shoot him down, you've just now deleted that last track and created a new one, the one you're currently recording.

So, years and years ago I found out that when you want to save that particular track, you needed to start recording with a custom name. So, while in flight, you type ".stop" and then type ".record hezey dies".

Or, as in my case, I would just type ".record ". Basically hit the space bar and you have ".record ".

So, between the command .record and " there is one space. That saves your current new track for good. So, to automate this, I do the following....

    1) Load the FHLauncher,
    2) Click on the "OPTIONS" button,
    3) Options box: Under left window box, "Alias Name/Hot Key", click on "onstartflight"
    4) Under right window box "Channel/Message", double click on the "100 .record last_sortie",
    5) In this "Edit Item" window, under the "Message text:", just delete the "last_sortie" and make sure there a space behind ".record ".

There you go! Now, every time you take off, be assured that every flight you take off will be recorded! Keep track of the time you flew if you want to find it again as it will save the file as something like: .thefox.20160716_110456 That is awesome as it names it by correct date and time! And, later, much later you'll have thousands of .trk files like I do. I have .trk files that go back to the beginning of WBFreehost. I think back to 200?

The only thing I wish the FH programmers would do is make this automated like that from the beginning so new users will be able to learn from watching their old tracks!

I'm thinking those guys gave up on the game after a while. Too busy playing in the dirt with their tanks.

Just in case folks don't look at the other topics or categories, here is the "Game bugs" area link. I'm having some issues that are a hassle but, the game does still work good. Game bugs
