Today I had just landed at friendly field after succesfull sortie lasting about 1 hour. I pressed .e and message ***Golds have won the war*** appeared. I was captured. What makes it more annoying is that i was flying for I/JG 54 (1 life/ToD). Nice way to end career, really. I've lost more streaks to this feature than to enemy fighters. Couldn't it be fixed? Have arena pause for 5 minutes when other side wins until fields reset. It gives people enough time to fly out of acks, exit planes or maybe even land. See you again next ToD.
I think that there is NO ONE who would disagree! As well there is probably no one who would disagree with counting ditched planes at friendly territory as kills! so why it isn't so?
Totally agree with ditches also. Lets keep this up on forums and maybe devs will find time to fix these issues. I know aike has been very busy IRL.
A punishment for winning the war is antiintuitive & frustrating, but remember Britain lost her empire after WWII, USA paid fortunes for the marshal plan. That being said, I think spending 15min flying home, if i have the gas, is boring. When airfighting started and when most of it's traditions were decided, it was considered a victory if you could force your opponent to exit the sky in any undiginied manner (anything other than RTB) including ditch@home territory. I dont know how this would have been scored by WWII airforces, but probably a kill would be assumed
totally agree with totally agreement i just hate when my ju52 is being shot down after taking one of 2 last fields in arena; its redicilous pls fix it smdy
I wonder that no one picked up this topic earlier. Everyone agree that actually settings after reset are very unhappy. Few minutes for leaving ack range would solve this problem. I agree
Seems all pilots agree the reset rules to be changed. At least I know nobody who is against such modifications. Unfortunately this problem can only discussed here. May be Developers can make sollution for us one day.
I totaly agree. I remember there where a huge topic about this problem, started by Odi and there where some voices against changes . Its just hard to understand some people
That was a topic about streak restriction I think Kopi, the last thread I remember about field caps and winning the game ended the same way as this one probably will, everyone wants it changed but nothing happened. For the record though I agree with illo and the rest Mal
hmm... but what about the defeated side? After reset fields do not change the color of fields for some time and the last captured field remains in color of defeated side.
