Why is it that so many people when flying online, not just this game but on WB2006, AH2 etc, hate vulching and vulchers??

    i vulch a lot
thats what this game is about

vulching is ok if the con may be any threat to the action you take, be it raid or sweep, nevermind
otherwise its just lame, especially if its stealing
thats what ppl hate so much about it i guess

Is it lame to use the same tactics used by all the great fighter aces?

I like to vulch as well. An enemy aircraft that doesn't know I'm there til my rounds hit him is much nicer than spending 10 minutes trying to get a good guns solution in a furball. I do agree that vulchers who do it purely to steal kills are lamers :lamer: :lamer:

    Vulchers have no honor.

Especially those guys that stay over a field at 20 or so clicks waiting for some sucker to take off so they can zoom down for an easy kill and shoot back up again.

It is also the definition about vulching.

EDIT: If somebody starts on a field where cons are waiting above, it is his own problem. He is not forced to takeoff from that field.

But shooting down landing or ditching (blacksmoke, greysmoke etc) or rtbers is lame, nothing else. No honour.
Not about those blacksmokers who stil spray their ammo. Those idiots need some 20mm in the pilot.

I don't care how people "fly" on this server. Vulch who you want. If you vulch me, you'll get next time get vulched by me.
Say "then youre the same like we are, no honour"

    Fuck you

Getting yourself into position when you can safely vulch enemies is part of this game and is called tactics. I sometimes scramble from buzzed fields but I know the risk, and don't whine when I get vulched myself. When I get shot down I can only blame my own stupidity.

couldnt agree more, exactly what i meant

also guy who has leak and still following and sprayin at me or one of my teammates will have problems landing with me around
or ignoring my attacks and following one of my teammates
same goes for those guys who firstly follow you deep into your territory and then whine about no fuel or ammo when they go down

but it also applies for unlucky guys who really just want to rtb near my friendly buff or taxi, seen too much stuff with letting them land and then watchin how they mess around with the buff

yeah, thats perfectly udnerstandable they decide to defend the field at all cost, thats why they should understand why they would get vulched sometimes near raided fields

as for the guys who just roll the field and then whine about honor.. well, i like those most

of course its always about the kills..
    heh
sometimes its important to block surrounding fields for example, to give your side advantage in air in other place
and msot efficient way is to vulch this field
    thats just one example

main arena isnt for 1/1 even figths
its about taking and keeping advantage

"If you find yourself in an even fight, you did something wrong"

Blocking a field is one thing, I'm talking about those who go out just to find a likely field that someone will take off from just for the sake of vulching and raising their score/number of kills.

This is supposed to be a "air combat flying game".

I do not consider that type of vulching "air combat" nor do I think that's really part of "the game".

It's NOT about kills. That kind of vulching can only be acceptable to those who play "first person shooters" like Doom.

Dog fighting means two dogs in the air fighting. NOT some pussy at alt 25+ or out of radar range over a field waiting for some plane to take-off.
There is no skill whatsoever necessary for that kind of play.

That's why on so many online flying games vulching is looked down upon.
