The most amusing part of this thread is that people have come to rely on a string of code to ignore someone/something.

    ignore

    Main Entry: ig·nore
    Pronunciation: \ig-'nor\
    Function: transitive verb
    Inflected Form(s): ig·nored; ig·nor·ing
Etymology: obsolete ignore to be ignorant of, from French ignorer, from Latin ignorare, from ignarus ignorant, unknown, from in- + gnoscere, noscere to know ? more at know
    Date: 1801
1 : to refuse to take notice of
2 : to reject (a bill of indictment) as ungrounded

Well I was just asking for feature in this forum to Ignore some individuas whos posts I really do not have to read.

This thread is proof that we really need such feature.

As you can see some of them got really offended "why the hell he wants to not to read my posts??? "
They are nothing but anoyance ( pests ) just like comercials while you watch a movie.

My point is, why do you need that feature to ignore something?

Just ignore it with your mind, your eyes, etc.

    Just ignore it.

    Ignore feature gone kapoot.
Now, ya gotta use analogue ignore.
I would like to be able to ignore pictures in ONE site. I dunno how to do that. I can make my browser display text without graphics, but it is for every site I visit. I would like to just have this and a few others do that. I come to this forum for the words, not the pictures.

And please stop spamming the forum with tons of moronic threads. How very ironic that the guy who's in tears about the lack of an ignore feature probably one of the most ignore-worthy people on the entire message board at this time.

    DP Cat
    A thread hijacking, by Rudeboy

    DP Cat

    DisPlaced Cat

No one here, in this house [two families, upstairs and downstairs] asked for this cat to come.
Now the cat is here and everyone has to batten down their garbage cans. I tell them, "Hey, there are other garbage interested cats around here. My cat isn't the only one who likes garbage."
Doesn't seem to matter. MY cat is a newcomer and is bound to be noticed whenever he is doing something, good or bad.
"he was outside last night fighting."
Actually, no, he wasn't, as he is indoor at night, while I am at work. SO, you didn't hear him outside, fighting.
"Well, I am sure he was your cat, but it was dark out." yeah, they all look the same when it is dark, until they smile, right?
"Where did you get him? he is 'some sort of breed.'"
yes. I got him from a vacant building, where someone had abandondoned him. And yes, he is some sort of breed, he is known as a 'cat.'
"Could you get him to stop crapping in the flower bads?"
    Why?
"Because we have to work in those flower beds."
You do? Funny, I recall making those beds two and some years ago, I have been the only one ever to do any work in them and, well, if you want, I have 2 yards of steer manure coming on the 30th. Would you like to put the manure in? No? You just said...
    yes, yes. I know. Sorry.
"He scratches on the door and yowls."
He does? When? Oh, at night? Well, which door exactly is he yowling at? Because he is inside my place all night long. Oh, that's right, you can't tell one from the other, at night, unless they smile.
"The neighbours have been giving him food."
Um, yeah. Um. And your point was?
"If you have him neutered, he won't spray....."
Yeah, I know. he was and he doesn't.
    "Cats claw up your furniture."
Hey, have you SEEN my furniture?

Bakshish is gonna be fine. His paw is healing rapidly, he hates the bucket on his head and he is VERY eager to get outside so he can fight and dig up the garden.

    Some people. Hehe.

    Thread is now hijacked.

Netscape has a feature that lets you do that. That said, I think Opera, or Firefox should also have something similiar.

Firefox lets me block images for all but 'exceptions.' I would like to block images to none but exceptions.....
    Netscape? Hmmm. Thanks:
