Attempt to hack my forum account

Whoever tried to log into my forum account several times and got locked out:

Don´t you think that I can find out who´s behind the 70.86.138.114 IP ?

may be a proxy

z.b. with http://anonymouse.org/ i opened 2 "IP locator"

1 said bulgaria and other said brasil

both fail detect proxy

1 even said "Is proxy: false"

what you have to do is checking the ip with a whois service and you get the result.

entering the ip into a webbrowser will never work.
otherwise i could enter your computer by browsing to your current ip.

 

1, go to http://anonymouse.org/

2, paste http://www.hostip.info/

3, click "surf anonymously"

This happen to me yesterday too!!! I receive the same message saying that somebody try loggin with my username.

the picture i posted was the link that ghandi had posted.
http://www.hostip.info/ but it is not recommended because it shows the location by database and these are not very good.

I recommend to use http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp to identify the provider the ip belongs to and you can ask it´s abuse services for more help.

BTW, you don't get a warning email when I do get your private info, only when my software misses.
