We actually are trying to find alternative for FHWB, and IL2 is one of our attempt; sadly, game is developed by russians, so, anything with red star is uber and 190 is absolutely crapped.

I agree that Russian rides are generously gifted in Il-2. But the same applies to some of the Allied and Axis planes. Not to mention that it has the saddest excuse of a P-38 I've ever seen in any flight sim.

    Hello.
    Turn off icons..
Do you have "CRT=2" protection on, on your server? Or it's open for modifications?

    S!

It was a proposition of invitation of TGR to the 303rd server (we have a dedicated server with limited planesets and barely any icons).
After that, I've listed the pros and cons of your server in that post.
    Cons:
    1. Stupid connection, around 300ms, very unstable.
    2. planeset (we had a deal, that we do not fly planes produced after 1943, but all other planes were also avaible, which resulted with a dweeb entering and flying jets)
    3. 5km icons
    Pros:
1-3. your current flying abilities (as a sqad, some of you fly quite well)

    Come on...
You say you're "trying to find alternative for FHWB" and you guys do not consider the Tabahost, that was developed for pilots originaly here of FH?
IMHO the Tabahost and its WB2008 server is the best "replacement" for FH!
Lots of improvements with ideas based on WB2.77 in a WB2008 server. If you didnt check out yet, try it, it really worth.

Forgot to mention unresolved lag problems I'm affraid Ricedd :(
TH would be great if not that.
I can get 20-30ms stable connect to most of the Polish IL2 servers, 35-50ms stable to Germany and Czech Republic, 50-65ms to Spain and the UK. 100-150ms tops to the US.
TabaHost returns 280ms+ (up to 500ms) and the gunnery is almost imposible to cope with (couldn't shoot down a C-47 formation... not because of lack of luck spotting it, not because of otto, but because his manouvres caused him to warp at my end... fighting fighters is even more of an arcade entertainment)

Hmm, I go to that page and I get a bunch of statistics but no word on how to get started. Are you supposed to use Hyperlobby and pick the correct server? If so, which server? :dunno:

Ricedd, I have had a lot of fun playing with Brazilian players...although sometimes the strategies/tactics/teamplay of Brazilians is, uh, shall we say, retarded sometimes..

But the few times I have signed on to Tabahost when the russian server for fH was down, I thought thermate man had dropped some LSD into my rye or something..My god I couldn't believe it..I would take off in a fighter from some desert island airfield and then all around me big 88mm shells were hitting the ground and exploding...I had ships firing 40 rounds of hell at me when I was taking off..Insane..

Then, If I finally did get off the ground, I would see a ju52 flying along with the damage model of a b17 and it had two other ju52's attached to it as well, flying along in some triangular formation....I said to myself "self, these guys fly tight formations, I mean these brazilian guys here are really hot pilots...I have never seen such tight formations...is collision on? OH! those 2 other planes are AI planes...RIGHT.

Ok there are no raids going on, noone seems to be doing anything at tabahost..on every channel all I see is:

    101:e ae galera
    100:blz?
    101:fala brazucada!
    100:chupa minhas pinghas
    100:selva!
    100:donde esta la red?
    100:jayroc isso e ridiculo!
    100:mcloud isso filho du punta!
    100: pra onde?
    100:huehuehuehuhuehh!
    100:muahuahauhhahauau!!

    One more satisfied consumer! Good!

    :D

    kidding off:

thank you all very much by your criticisms!
reading observations and considerations like these, we can spot all those aspects that TH has room for improvement.
    thank you once more!
And, if all of you has other considerations, just let me know!

Ah! And stay tunned for a major improvement in all WB experience...
I believe that will be a breakthru in a FH/TH history...

Less then two weeks ( if I could do my job)
