More selfbombing by wurge and a bonus run to enemy ship acks and suicide by helmet for no reason other than not wanting to rtb.

    wurgehelmet

We need either a sticky thread "hall of shame" or start adding to the current one in the freehost wiki page.

Nothing will stop this behavior other than the embarrassment of everybody seeing the dweebery one commits.

EDIT: Wurge assures he didn't selfbomb and just dove too fast making a pull out impossible so I retract that statement about him and only skewer helmet for the ack suicide when he was clearly pulling away.

Let's just have a 5 min wait upon death. That's for the pilot getting killed. Bailing/capture/ditch are ok, but when the pilot dies you have a 5 min wait. If this is possible, that should work to get rid of some of the dweebery. To get rid of other dweeb elements, is it possible to put a control lock on people that stick stir? Aces High has an example of what I'm talking about. If you move your controls too rapidly, the game will freeze your controls.

Nah, game needs more tits. I propose using some hot chick for the FM. Fat guys are way undermodeled, have very little otto, and 90mm cannon with short range. In other words, fat bastards are just another Bf-110 dweeb plane. We need something perky, fairly young, fast, graceful, and a great set of teeth. Let's get the comet in the game! That way we can have hot jet on jet combat.

Also, we could fix Li-2 roll rate. That might bring everyone back.

How about removing the .fields command.

The person who last bombed the field already knows and reality would not have the enemy knowing this information because he's over there....way over there upping another one way fighter mission.

Just tired of having a field pop open with one item up only to have a fighter suicide into it and close the field.

ground is not modelled by wb, so air-to-ground relations are... abstract.

A lot of stuff the Japanese Empire was using for war-fighting was Great War technology.

Embargoes screwed up a lot of industry there.

I handed him back his ear and I said:
    Don't bring a knife to a gunfight.

Yesterday, I landed where I took off from after chasing enemy through his CV's ack and killing him only to find that my field had changed color.

As I rolled to a stop, the opponent who I shot down (re-upped at carrier and chasing me) was nice enough to inform me I had landed on an enemy field (hadn't opened yet) so I hit it and tried to take off only to have my gear break off at the end of the runway.

    Then he vulched me.

Sure, at any moment before he was in range, I could have ditched it but my first instinct is to try to live rather than ditch to deny a kill so the guy who earned the kill.....got the kill.

I'm getting pretty good at surviving enemy ack so don't think you're safe when you hide in your ack.....because I will follow you in.

I'll come for you anyway though I don't understand someone gloating when the ack they hide in gets me since they did nothing but run and hide.

I also understand why some people always fly the same color because it's really easy to forget what color you are if you fly both sides.

Not long ago I unloaded a B-24 on a field, RTBed for troops, then realized the field was one of ours :shuffle:

About that. Is there a way to fix the DM where you can't pk a white plane? This 5 min wait thing will suck if that can't be fixed because then it will become the goal of all dweebs to pk everything in sight, including bailed pilots.
