Sorry , cant let you start from wrong basis my friend. Game is not abandoned, reality is that is not abandoned, for example disappearing of gold coms can show you that. Im trying hard not to write too much as this should be ur oppinion thread, but i must defend right for someone to be different.
Ill try to make you to see from different angle. No reason to think like me, just would be better to see things from different angles imho.
When you or anyone else use term "abandoned" the one who is really saying that is not player, he is " quiter". I am not prone to quit anything that i like to do , or just like, I prefer to change than to quit. Many forum active members are not longer in the game, they dont play , they just use forum. Forum is different than game itself, in arena all ppl tend to act with emotions, rare is the case to have some cold cold player. On forum, many of them who just said bye bye to game because they simply couldnt stand game being different than they expected , tend to be wise guys , thinking clearly , and in some cases, tend to make active players suffer for past experience of those who quit. Well, i understand someone stopped playing five years ago , mb changed for another sim, mb not, but those must understand us who stayed here.If this game doesnt mean anything to someone, that is not my problem, that is his prob. I can tell you for myself only , I like this game , but more than anything I like people i had chance to meet in arena, to talk to , to make friends with. That is great experience, far better than forum one, and in many cases when mb i didnt feel very good, i would enter arena just to see my friends to have a few laughs. I am not going to change that experience for any other , so its impossible for me to quit it. I simply never quit things i like.
We talk here about real people , not some imagined ones, so, friendship is as real as any other irl.Saying that , you will probably understand better what means boycott to me, as this is first thing i should have explained. For me boycotting game and time with friends i like, is almost like for many of you boycotting this forum u like, or for some dickheads, stopping insulting others for some time until forum gets fixed.:)Can you understand that?
I simply think things are always relative, and what means to me doesnt have to mean anything to you , so is always important, not if it is something "abandoned" but what that something means to me or to you.
It has some power if you note that fact , because I am not the only one noticing bad things in the game, many of them do, then mb someone will join me , then mb someone other will notice me gone, so mb someone else will go as well..And since we players in arena are closer attached one to another than these guys on forum, it is quite possible it will have some impact on gameplay as well.Trust me, with roster like this, every guys counts, and me being regular every night, will have some significance to the matter :)

OK. You explained your viewpoint. Let me clarify mine.

I remember those days when there were 20/30 players for each side.

The last time I played online there were five in total, three were red.

To me, that is virtually abandoned.

Not to say one cannot have fun with just a few players on each side.

Now to cry in my beer a little::@drunk:

I think the FH Warbirds is a great game and the devs are really a great group of people dedicated to a principal of true altruism.

My answer to your first question; "Should we abandon the game in protest?"

    Short answer: NO!

Longer answer and I most likely said it before:

Enjoy the game for what it's worth. Play your game and have fun.

Make suggestions as you see fit.

One can see that the devs are trying to make changes. Some worked. Some didn't.

Remember they have real lives and jobs outside this game.

and unfortunately so do most of us hear.
There will be a time that everyone of us will leave this game.

I had some great times playing.

I found some really cool people here and online.

Even from the opposing side too. :D

Way too much typing for someone who struggles with English.

    Unless it's a fake struggle.

demian, I know there are still a few people desperately holding on to this, but let's face it ... Warbirds FH has been dying for at least 2 years and is now pretty much in its death throes. Yeah I know, people have been saying that for as long as I can remember, but this time I think it's true. Thus the only thing a boycott could possibly achieve is to accelerate the death of this game.

Fh lives only because people like it , those who set up server, and u can clearly see difference between western world and love for money , and eastern love for the game..:alc:

I've said it many times, but people won't listen to me ... Real Life is not good for you! It merely distracts you from what should be your true priorities. Besides, Real Life invariably ends in Real Death.
