Spit XIV is changed for sure. Handles worse than tbf in a dogfight. hilarious. Should be best fighter in the game, probably worst.

    Bring back:
old Spit XIV fm :D :D
    old db3 fm
old b24 fm (bombing is strange now seems changed)
old sbd fm (cant pull out or roll in high speed)
old val fm (can't pull out or roll in high speed)
old ju52 fm (use for SM bomber and for ju also)

I wonder how many Komets appeared in combat & either shot down enemy aircraft or were shot down by enemy aircraft as opposed to 109 T?

Then it serves it's historical intention. :dunno:

    Ha ha ha !!!!

Will bi be for gold or red side?

yes, you can please some of the people some of the time... but can't please all of the people all of the time....

going back to an old suggestion:

have a place where everyone gets the same plane. even for a limited time.

This way at least everyone will have the same experience and will be able to give better input... and know how good they really are or how much they suck......:D

    NO!
No Komet nor BI-1 (what a ugly plane uh?) :D

We need Brewster Buffalo, and MS.406 or MB.152.
    MB.152 :kruto:

As I said before, we don't need more uber late war planes. We need variety on the Early!!

It takes me a few seconds to roll a snoopy or a zeke or a little ki [etc].
When I am behind a snoopy or a zeke or a little ki [etc], trying to attack it, that snoopy or a zeke or a little ki [etc] often rolls so fast it looks like it has a roll rate of 360 degrees in zero seconds.
This holds tru with break turns observed from outside. Insta-turns, insta-rolls.....
I think lots of planes look like that for the guy chasing it.
I think the roll rates in the classic warbirds were kept reasonable because of the difference between what the one sees and what the other is doing.

    I suggest dealing with that.
There is too much wierd shit seen because of lag.

Maybe make it possible that nobody can play this game unless they have a pin to server of 50ms or better.
    Hmmm?

That's been mentioned before. You might as well shut down the server and forget the whole thing.

What would make more sense to me would be to disable the following.
    1. Disable flying with mouse mode.
    2. Disable 2D flying mode.
    3. Enable attach in TA.

I did notice that the Spit 14 is very unstable and awkward compared to earlier variants.

The spit 14 traded a bit of maneuverability for higher speeds.

Still should out turn the p51 but only by a slight margin.

flying mouse only is easy. the aiming is the pain.
so i fly with ppmouse that assigns rudder to mouse as well.

softgraphics? it's hard to fly NAP or stallfight. only strafing is a bit easier.

attach will be turned on at TA

Mouse flying: I found software on the internet that allows a person to emulate mouse control with any joystick. After some time I was able to gain control and maneuver well enough. The maneuverability in mouse mode is MUCH greater than with a joystick. Flying the P-38 for so many years with a joystick, when I tried with a mouse, I was astounded how well the P-38 elevator/aileron response is.

2D graphics: My thought is that in 2D, spotting cons is much easier, making it unfair for those in 3D. But, who needs to fly in 2D anymore? Computers are very capable of 3D now. :)

Attach command: Great to have that in TA for training/entertainment. :)

I have, it's not that bad actually. But, haven't tried on a touchpad or trackball. Flying the P-38 with a mouse is actually surprisingly effective as far as maneuverability.

    Yeah.
I like engineers. But I don't like what the inclusion of engineers has done to the tempo of the game.

Imagine a chess game where you never know if your next move will be canceled and the other player given two moves in a row.

Game theory is very complex, injecting caveats into a game system can fuck everything up so bad, especially after changes are compounded over time and players have a difficult time figuring out or articulating what caused the change.

You have a good point. It would be a very easy thing for devs to halt the use of engineers.
Mac, you should start a poll, or better, use inarguable logic and beg the devs to step back and simply discontinue engineers.

I for one, would vote to discontinue. That said, there are a lot of enhancements to the game system I would trow out. The KISS principal has it's benefits.

    Enhancements:
    Gas
    Winter
    Morale
    Command Control and Communication
    Fifth columns

    PFT

Dunno if it's the main reason for leaving.
I liked this system, altough I don't fly with the same frequency I flew. Work, college, u know...
But I usually see some 15-25 people online most of the days I log on... Not to fly, just to check.

Main reason for me is the erratic FM of some planes, and -exec- stated that will be changed.

    REALLY?
You don't play often. And when you do, infrequently show up, you see 15-25 on-line most of the [times you] log on...
I log on frequently*. Your numbers don't jive with mine, man.

*Dropped a laptop, busted it. Then had a breakdown and collapsed, I am just now getting around to mopping the tears off my floor.

I think exec has an attendance record that jives with those numbers. It's not every day/night those numbers are present. More like weekend times have those numbers.
