I was hangin out at my grandparents.
My older half sister was there.
Downstairs in the 'Rumpus Room' that grandad had built for kids now took over by grandkids, or Beth.
    Beth got it.
I went down to the Rumpus Room/Beth's room.
    She said, Roll one.
    So I did.
    We went outside to smoke.
Came back and had a cold drink and Beth put on a record.
    It was this.

I had heard one of the songs on this album lots of times on the AM radio, but not the rest of the album.

Yup. That guy did it for me too. Keith Moon. And The Who. On vinyl. Wore a few needles out playing them back in high school.

Give this a listen. Tell me if the drums(mer) here reminds you of anyone. Maybe the same band but earlier album than you posted. And the message in the lyrics - it's as old as rock-n-roll itself, really. Lots of raw talent here, methinks.

    Your mileage may vary.

Some toys not for use with some sets.

    Part of a complete breakfast.

I'm just as full of shit as anyone else.

    That was a good tune.
I got the 'The up-loader has not made this video available in your country....'
The censoring of the 'bad words,' in the lyrics kinda pissed me off.
Oh, the band records and markets in USA. Well,
    Fuck piss shit

Dammm..... pretty cool stuff... Wellsir... I've been around for a long time and heard a few bans from the "old days"... so I hear elements from a lot of the ones that came before... so Stones, Echo and the Bunnymen, Wall of Voo Doo second rendition, Red Hot Chili Peppers maybe even a little Beatie boys, Black Crows.. Yes lots of raw talent there and a very good video.

:super: let's hope they refine their style before the fame, drugs, long hours and wear and tear burn them out....

This was THE party band when I was a teen.
I want you to pay particular attention to the drummer.
    He was good, really good.
Not all their songs were masterpieces, they were making pop, after all.
but their good songs will make many in the CANADIAN over 50 crowd shed melancholic tears. I saw them in high school AT MY HIGH SCHOOL.
I think their were doing shows like that because they knew the kids would grow up and buy their records, and we DID.

Oh yeah. Wonderful and very On Topic, Ginger was a superb drummer, uh, world class type. Oooh, I am playing the youtube thing right now and am preparing a Marijuana roach I have found on a park-bench, which is a really cool thing to find.
Just about to roll it into a tiny 'pin joint'
    Hey, it's alright.
Don't send a drone bomb my way. Oh, not you, you are a liberated soul. I mean The Others.
Off I go to the john, which has a powerful almost-institutioanl strngth [oh maybe 60 cf/m maybe even 90....
