That's ok, I don't have any piercings you confused me Mcgru Yes, we have saunas in Brasil but what are the brasilian conditions you are talking about?
Dipping in frosen lake is great! Illo try it out man.Especially the L&M (lama malrboro ) does bad for your blood circulation on skin (not me ..eh?) But when u jump into lake it's a turboboost for it. After sauna and swin I felt 4 hours of deep warmth ...hmm the rest is unexplainable Kuusijärvi north of H:ki is very nice place to try it.3.5? as i remember.10 secs swim is ok ..15 secs oot kurko PS.mcgru ,do you guys use 'vihta' or 'vasta' = bath whisk made of birch-tree to masocistly/sado-masocitly whip u and your buds in sauna? WE DO! link:http://www.sauna.org/vasta/
Heh one of my USA friend called it "birch-broom" We calling it "venik" And hell YES, exactly! Moreover for me personally sauna w/out "venik" just ordinary bathwashing... Sorry my misspelling just in case
Well, I've never been to a sauna so I don't really know but in my city which is up in the mountains (900m above sea level) and far south, the river waters get quite cold (like +5.C~+9.C) so I guess shouldn't be a problem
Don't be scared man! Just try it for yourself... Oh I don't remember is there birch or oak in Brasil? If no... maybe eucalyptus will be useful instead? I dunno... And one more thing... Don't forget one indispensable condition - do it ONLY in sauna!
Btw,I never heard of anyone getting a heart attack or any seizure when jumping into a 'avanto' (=hole made in frozen lake). But let's all go to a room heated to 80-100 C¨ ,throw some water over the bathhouse stove and bang ourselves and others with bath-whisks until we just can't take the heat....then jump into a freezing water. -we not sick ppl
Get him links to the "Features of national hunting" and "Features of national fishing" movies, hehehe
Ok, will try to not be scaried but to imagine being whipped is quite scary to me heheheh I think that birch and oak are native trees of the northern hemisphere, not sure if we have them here, I'm sure I haven't seen one. I know they use eucalyptus branches on saunas to leave a nice smell on the air, that's what the birch/oak are for too?
Russia, Kamchatka, mountain "Moroznaya" ("Frosty"), me. Full wersion here: http://troyka.iks.ru/max/ski2
strange - my observation is that smokers usually have darker brownier faces. ? maybe it depends on initial racial color?
