I'm not Canadian, but somehow great comedy TV came from there. SCTV and others I won't here mention, but damn, look at the talent here:

Estadounidens hardly notice us. I mean by us, Canada and Canadians…
    I am OK with that…

Not true, we Yanks notice y'all a lot. The point of my post was to highlight how many of the cast members of SCTV went on to become extremely famous and wealthy in show business. Pretty much all of the SCTV actors went on to become famous! TPB guys haven't done poorly.

    Yeah you are correct [Mostly].
I recall fondly the great days of The Beachcomers and MacGyver and lest we forget TPB…..
    Those were the days!
Really put Canada on the map eh!?

Hey, just sincerely trying to give SCTV some credit, because I dug the show and the talents. In ancient times that was considered a compliment! As Steve Martin used to say, "well excuuuuuse me!"

Had a girlfriend who looked like that, too. Kind of unreliable, because she was always drunk. She made me seem like a puritan. And she had that same hair style. It was very attractive on her ~1988. She wasn't stupid; she was very clever -- she came from a wealthy farming family. But when she drank she lost all control. Had to ask hotel owners to let me into her rooms sometimes, because she would pass out cold and I was concerned about her. They'd let me in and I'd see her wasted, with bottles all over the bed. Well, that relationship did not last for obvious reasons, but I hope that she's OK now (if she's living).

    (Little bit is off-topic)
Any years I spent near her were a complete waste of my time and such is life eh!
If I could do it all over again I would be a different man….
    Ya only live once eh?
Can’t do it all again or any of it.

Yeah, we humans are very confused/delusional for most of our lives. And distracted -- by things like work, money and women. And we don't realize any of this until we're older. Oddly enough, I'm not sure that anything matters.

Luckily these thoughts only last a few moments, then we go on living happily.

Our neighbor's dog, for example. He comes to our yard, to the pile of sand our cats use as a latrine, probes a bit with its snout for their excrements and eats them.
    There's a happy life!

LOL, your neighbor's dog acts like some very famous humans.
