    Hi uncles,

how many MB is it to download that game?....I have a new pc with an i5 processor and a whole bunch of ram so I think my pc can handle it.
And is there any capturing of fields? Like what is the object of the game? Do I need to buy a joystick or can I just do basic bombing raids with a keyboard?

Oh, this is a little off topic but I was in the Guggenheim last weekend and saw a little something that reminded me of you.. ;) :D

650 bucks and it's all yours..Jackson Pollock eat yer heart out..

The fuckin graphics link is an error.......
    BUT....... Wait.
Why don't you buy a joystick, Man?
    [it is
possible to mouse the game, erm, how well do you tolerate using a clutch where the brakes are? And, erm, the accelerator engaged by sitting down more firmly, or if that is unsuitable, by shaping* a sound like Pblblblble?]
You were in the Guggenheim [Which Guggenheim?]..... is that statement made so that I could ridicule and mock you or do I have to chose one?
    Later.
    Joystick?... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee fbibble:
Buy one, you dolt. Bet ya can even find one not far from the Guggenheim [Which Guggenheim?]
And get a good video card.
Probably the same place, just around the corner from
    the Guggenheim [Which Guggenheim?]

*or whatever a group of sounds writ means, uh, phonication?
    :dura:

[Satiek X 52, is still excellent and a reasonable price].
Video card? ANYTHING but the fuckin Intel Integrated Graphics you surely have in that Intel PC.
    Is the game any good?
In my opinion [I am not being a smart ass in this one answer]: NO, it is shitty, the flight model is the same one it was always, no matter what, it feels like uphill water-skiing.
The fuckin planes yaw so much it is like ice skating with dull blades.
    The eye Candie looks great.
I have the beta. I mean I had the beta.
I hated it, gave it to my son, he gave it to someone.
I think it went to good use, finally; skeet.
    Your results may vary.
    .
Uncles: Did you pay money for it, or find and try the beta?

Of course I paid the full price. It's still beta, though, and each week there're mods to almost everything, so unless you update the app as much as McCloud changes his frilly chick undergarments, you may not have seen the latest version.

Commander Jackson "Bubbles" Pollack-Lahey recently recommended to me this video, which I share here in the interests of full disclosure: http://youtu.be/uj9uPfCFuCI

    Dirty burger :znaika:

I disliked the game. BUT, I respect and like Mac and I repsect and like you, Uncles.
    SO:
    Here goes....
Mac, get a Joystick with a rudder twist or some pedals. Make sure you video is up to snuff.
Take the time, get the sim working. Patch it all up. Have fun.
There were people on line, when I played. A couple times, there are lots.
    I didn't like the sim, doesn't mean Mac won't.
Sorry I was discouraging [an asshole = me]

My tastes are not combat oriented sims anymore because I am, uh, a bit retarded now-a-days and, uh, my heart races when I get excited, so I use civil flight sims now.

Peace, Mac, you silly hill-billy, have some fun.

I am, but waiting for full release to go online as purchasing of PC able to handle it is in progress.
It was partially fixed several updates ago, btw. Also it seems yaw to about 20 degrees were reallly possible IRL (and they still are in game) but now they do it much more smooth with less shaking.

I am confident that IL-2 BoS will be a great game. In many ways, it is amazing :) When I fly there, I am always amazed. People don't understand how good the technology is, IMHO.
