You sure they're bees and not wasps?

Turns out they were german yellowjackets. not even bees at all. Interesting enough, I put a little piece of froschschnitzel in the shopvac with some of that red cabbage and spaetzele or whatever you call it and they didn't mind flying right down the tube. triumph of the will.

"Triumph of the Will" for the Kraut yellow jackets -- good one ;) And you get get extra credit for the Rotkraut and Spaetzle references. And where is Froschschnitsel served? In Alsace region? :)

    What??? No Schnapps?

The real trick is what do you with the shopvac now full of wasps and food?

I called some pest control dudes and they sprayed right up inside the soffit and fascia with some super deadly powder that will "kill the entire colony."
that was after I shop vacked the bees for about 3 hours a day for the whole weekend.

I gave only seen two bees since, they were in the backyard and I killed both of them.

Hey Mac, any idea of how to check what happened to Hez? Can you check the obits for the Vancouver area? Or any of the rest homes? I'd hate to think hes stranded in some rest home with no internet access.

Yes, it's a virtual ghost town here- almost as bad as the online game.....
I miss your stories too.... real estate, paki pizza, Mr. Thermate, kilts, bagpipes, Scotch, one arm chicken fucker, gorilla tales, trailer park boys commentary, dogs loose in the park....
almost gets me to want to go see my cousins and friends in Toronto...
At least when Spring comes, I hope to ride my bike up to Vancouver.
You still wearing that pea coat?

Merry Christmas to you crazy bastards! If Hezey were here, we could heat up a can of "pork n' beans" over some Sterno behind the railyard -- and then, so celebratory, owing to the season, drink the Sterno ;)
