wellllll....... screen shots are truly amazing, yes, but how many players look at the cockpit during play? The real questions are the flight-shooting-damage models. Then there will be the talk of strategy, team play, maps and conquest, number and types of planes available..... and hopefully some of the younger set will stop playing Call of Duty or Halo or Forge of Empires long enough to get interested in WW2 air combat games....

Now - the fall is here, WB2020 is not.
The last updates in IEN site are from ... June.
The Microprose site boasts about games and awards... received two, three or almost four decades ago.

    Let me quote myself:
    "Let us see".
Well, there's not much to watch ATM.

I have just got a email from Steam and it claims warbirds 2020 is here is now and works.
Steam website says it is a special discount also which is cool because I’ve been smoking OPs.
    It is not free though
I hope that is good news.
I am not fooling myself. I am going to be a fun target like I was back in the old days.
I hope to get shot down by that fucker who used to shoot me down with a _single-engine_ P-38.

Probably will count each successful landing as a personal victory.

I tried the, I think, incorrect version a year, or two, ago.
There was NO Axis verses Allies sort of play.
I am gonna find out how far this new one has gone from suitable.
    Happens all the time.

Steam won't launch it hosted on GNU/Linux. don't tell me about Proton,
Not having a target to hate pisses me off, who did it?
Rather than argue with a bunch of Linux KnowEverythings, I am gonna use MSWindows. That is an endurance too. I want to get it to work, so I can find out what I hate about it.

    Hi -kong-
I see you are in the Steam Thing. Me too.
The thing sent a flag saying Warbirds Downloaded.
Okay, so I am gonna see if I hate it or not, I will hate it if it doesn't even start....

Как минимум Unreal правильности физики никак не мешает. Я с ним чутка работал.

    Me too!

Had my X-Box brutally disconnected from the living room telly, cause "junior was trying to play with it, and I had to hide it" so I'm switching to playing at work, on my laptop, and can't wait for a flight sim to join my "lineup".

My old MSSP2 joystick is still working well... they must have discontinued it, because it was too good for the age of planned obsolescence.

    The latter.
I somehow manage my own workloads within office hours, with some spare time to spend on small talk, or reading books.
Junior's almost 1.5 and making our life miserable... all these anti-baby-locks are just pissing everyone off. First I bought several at Castorama, and the younger one (I have 2 kids) learned how open them in matter of minutes... next trip to specialized store, buying the expensive "no-one will unlock this shit" ones... 4 or 5 days, and "voila" they are open too. Bought magnetic locks with a key... but they are a nuisance to their users too. Now the X-Box... c'mon! Good thing I still have my "man cave" in the garage. I'd probably go insane without it.
