Watch Midnight 31st on to 1st Feb.

When all of a sudden all of the German players disappear from the Main Arena at FreeHost tonight, then

the European WarBirds server (WB.eu) has opened for subscription

Do not worry to much, dear FreeHost community, they will all be back, however, most of them will try the first four weeks (until 28th of February), which are free of charge.

You might come over yourself here and see what it is all about. I am absolutly certain, you will be back as well pretty soon.

    Regards

    I will NOT test it.

Why the hell should I fly an absolute obsolate and buggy version when I have the option to fly here in FREEHOST ?

    Cheers

Great! Spit turns, 8x 7mm damage, no warps, no angle off hits by bullets which pass you on your fe by a good margin.

Just to even this thread ;)

Yes, but only 30 pilots in Main. Let´s wait for 80-100.
    Maybe tomorrow evening.

    Maybe yes, maybe no!

    @ Lectec

Why dont you ask this Question in the Bulletin Bord of WB.eu here ?
    It is an English/German forum.
Now from what I have heard, you need the iEn-Version of WB277 and an update to what they call WB277euUpdate.
They carry a fast download page, which is to be found within the buttons left of the forum pages.

I have done exactly that and mine is running smoothly, however, dont be disappointed too much, you will be missing a lot of features, which you are so accustomed to, here at FreeHost.

If I were you, I would not mess around with a good running FreeHost setup on your PC, and rather install a brand new setup.

    Regards

all it took to play WB.eu was to replace warbirds.exe and 2b3d.exe with the 2 files provided in the WB-EU small download package of 1.2 mb. I zipped the old files to easily swithc between them.

first comment on WB.eu -> much better demage model, u can actually hurt with 7mms. 4-5 mg/ff hits tear an allied aircraft apart. Its oh so good to feel that u shoot to kill not scratch the paint.

and the connection is very smooth. haven't witnessed warps, or some out of this world manouvers so common here.

The question is : Are there any scenarios in february when people can fly for free and make a test to find out what they like?

And are scenarios worth to pay 10 Euro per month for a totally obsolate game without all the corrections and add-ons done by the Freehost-team ?

I think that I continue waiting until the last bugs in the Freehost-scenario-arena are fixed.

    Whereelse would I have the chance to fly a scenario with Me410, He177 or Pe2 ? :D

    first scenario:
    Pearl Harbour @ february 8th.

during the free weeks there will be about 6 scenarios/events on wb-eu-server.

    for more information click here.

auto-plane-choose by clicking register on free seats for registrated pilots.
dunno, ever heard about S3 @ us-server? just try a scenario, before judging, thx
