We are having at arena a new situation. Since it's a small map with few citys, most red economy is down (it was around 40% last time). So when golds attack targets stay down for long (i got one for almost 9000s). But when field is captured they still down for that long. So now we are having many fields with few struts up and reuping only 1 or 2 at a time. So it's cap and recap festival. My question: Is reup time recalculated (using the other side's economy) when it is captured ?
I'm not sure. Maybe our economy was cripled as well. Maybe both red and gold share the same economy targets on this small map. Maybe...
I dont know if Gold eco was down at the time, but presuming it wasnt, it means there is no benefit in buffs targeting it if it means that the fields they cap are easy targets. I can only guess snakey meant both sides share same eco, which would be strange in itself. -glas-
bombing enemy industry bad for your own cause hmm subliminal message or overlooked status effects? i imagine it makes for interesting circumstances too bad im not around to experience them first hand =\ seems like it would near the realm of cv ping pong
you hit enemy economy you kill enemy struts for long time you capture field targets were killed for long time, independent from your economy, so they reup in long time
Economies are not connected. Each side has its own. If u kill a target for 9000 secs it will stay down exactly 9000 sec no matter the current field owner's economy or anything else... (well, except for a map reset )
Would it not be better to make the reup times be consistent with the eco of the side that owns it? What is the point of us taking out red eco, downing one of their fields and capping it, only to find the hangar reups in 1000 secs but everything else in 7000 secs? Reds just leave it for half an hour then go back and cap it. I jabo and an Li, and its theirs. I dont see the point -glas-
if a field was captured in rl, and should be used by the winnerside, the used their own ressources to rebuild, and dont let the enemy rebuild theyr field right? (btw nobody would rebuild a lost field...) recalculate economy at cap
