    The average pilots balance for next TOD:

    Reds:
    Legion Condor JG69 - 28
    White Eagles Squadron - 19
    1st Czech Lions - 22
    312 Czhechoslovak - 15
    Esqado Est.. Brasil - 18
    Polish Flight Team - 20
    III/3-Dywizjon-WIELKOPOLSKI - 14
    72AG - 25
    228 SHAD - 29
    ==================
    Total: 190 pilots

    Golds:
    Sibeerians - 25
    302 SQ Polish - 29
    ==================
    Total: 54 pilots

    One-colour/mixed color squads and squads with <10 pilots were not counted. BTW the "Elite" (22 pilots) and "Texas Rattlesnakes" (21 pilots) are always "Red".

    nic, in case you ddin't notice, 302nd will be gold... so he'll be in the action either way...

    well now, maybe JG13 will come and reinforce the lines for some time ... blast from the past, wouldn't hurt

    (would require me training again though :p)

    greetze, Zembla

    main squads should declare before TOD start on what side they will fly (depending of others squads choices);

    if biggest squads were assigned with sensible balance, TOD would be more interesting;

    The one-colour squads re-covers themselves.

    Re: Forgot AFVS

    From which active about 15?

    We have flown about half the amount of 302nd total sorties

    ontopic:

    But agree that some major squads should be always balancing each other.
    How about 228 <-> 302nd

    Hi everyone,

    JG69 Legion Condor has decided it has had enough of one-sided warfare.

    Our official decision: Legion Condor bomber wing (Pelicans) and Legion Condor fighter wing (Falcons) will fly on opposite sides starting with the next tour of duty.

    Falcon fighters will only try to intercept Pelican bombers (and to make mincemeat of their fighter escort (which will have to be provided by different squadrons, obviously).

    Pelican bombers on the other hand will only obliterate airfields from which Falcon fighters took off. (Every Falcon is obliged to report his take-offs on CH100 for that purpose.)

    Falcons will not attack any other bombers. You can tell a Falcon attack by two consecutive right-hand slow rolls just before the gunnery runs. If you're not a Pelican bomber, please help to restore game balance by announcing you're not a Pelican on CH100 if you see a fighter doing two rolls!

    Likewise, Pelicans will not attack air fields with more than 5 normal take-offs per Falcon take-off. If you hear something like this on CH100: "THIS IS PELICANS, WHO JUST TOOK OFF FROM F13?", please answer immediately. Pelican raid leader will count responses to see whether bombing is permitted to him under Legion Condor sidesplit rules.

    By this simple set of rules, gameplay balance is going to be increased by a great deal! Side numbers are going to be much closer to each other, and the net effect of the Legion Condor will stabilize the game instead of tilting it towards whatever side we are fighting for.

    Every other squadron who'd like to participate is invited to join our scheme! We're trying to set a positive example of sportsmanship for the benefit of overall gameplay, and I'm sure many other squadrons share the same great spirit!

    Please mail our Squadron Leader, Rapier, to reserve your specific attack recognition patterns. (State number of left rolls/right rolls/loops. No wingovers please, these are reserved for the beta testers.)

    Regards,

    Henning (HoHun)
