Well, Europe's Day became celebrated exactly after the defeat of Nazi Germany in '45. so there would be no more bloodshed in Europe. An idea that didn't catch in ruSSia, it seems.

"Dissenting citizens" or "green people" with "heavy arms that can be bought in any arms store"?
    Cause there's quite a difference I guess.

RFK Jr: The CIA has been involved in coup d’etats and attempted coup d’etats in about a third of the countries in the world, most of them democracies. So if our national policy as a country is to promote democracy, the CIA’s policy has been the opposite. It has been at odds with the United States. My father recognised this too: his plan was to reorganise the CIA along those lines to separate the espionage and the analysis and information gathering functions from the black functions, because otherwise the espionage section sees its job as justifying all of these nefarious activities they’re involved in, and there’s no accountability. There’s never any accountability. You overthrow a government in Iraq, and what happens: you create Isis. You then get involved in Syria, from Isis, and you drive 2 million refugees into Europe which destabilises democracy all over Europe and basically causes Brexit. That’s the outcome of what the CIA considers a successful operation to depose Saddam Hussein. Is it really successful? I don’t think so. We have a 60-year war with Iran and that war began when the CIA overthrew the first democratically-elected government in the 6,000-year history of Persia. And we are still living with the blowback from that operation. And there’s no accountability and these agencies need to be accountable, and I would break up the CIA in a way that would make them accountable.

    Again this idiocy!

While US external politics has always had its shades - and even putrid darkness - pinpointing the cause of the evil on a) a specific action, b) in a very complex situation, c) involving countless actors, d) unknown facts and e) presenting succession as causation is a manipulation technique. It was not your idea, for you are not clever. You are just a wanker who fell for it.

Thanks for another confirmation of my original point about your ability to rely on facts in forum exchange and your level of 'discussion' in general.

"Polite green people" you referring to were all about Crimea, not any other parts of ex-Ukrainean Soviet Republic. And their only role was to uphold law and order and to prevent nazis sent by kiev's regime from doing their usual thing - killing and terrorizing civilians.
Now re-read my post you was trying to answer to and realize that point was made about Odessa, Kharkov and Donbass in 2014 - by "coincidence" predominantly russian-speaking regions with majority of population being unhappy about results of coup. Regions with people rebelling against coup and without support of "green people" - thus with that "quite a difference" in outcome you spoke about. It's kinda delighting to see that you also can notice the difference between results for those three regions from my original message and Crimea.
