I've had a REALLY rough day.... The 4-yr old brother of someone my girlfriend works with died this weekend, so I was hunting Kazaa for some moody music (shit like that affects me pretty damn bad) when I ran into a golden oldy: "(Don't fear) the reaper" by the Blue Oyster Cult. So I've been listening to that song the entire evenign, and then decided to check out their website.... Turns out they recorded a song called "ME-262" and I just HAD to share this with you guys. Has anyone got this record? I can't find this song anywhere...

    Anyways, here are the lyrics:

    ME 262

by Eric Bloom, Donald Roeser and Sandy Pearlman
    ©1974 B. O'Cult Songs, Inc.

Gцring?s on the phone from Freiburg
Said Willie done quite a job
Hitler?s on the phone from Berlin
Says I?m gonna make you a star

My Captain Von Ondine is your next patrol
A flight of English bombers across the canal
After twelve they?ll all be here
I think you know the job

They hung there dependent from the sky
    Like some heavy metal fruit
These bombers are ripe and ready to tilt
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
Must they live that I might die

In a G-load disaster from the rate of climb
Sometimes I?d faint and be lost to our side
But there?s no reward for failure?but death
So watch me in mirrors keep me on the glidepath

Get me through these radars, no, I cannot fail
While my great silver slugs are eager to feed
    I can?t fail?No, not now
When twenty five bombers wait ripe

They hung there dependent from the sky
    Like some heavy metal fruit
These bombers are ripe and ready to tilt
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
Must they live that I might die

    ME 262 prince of turbojet
    Junkers Jumo 004
Blasts from clustered R4/M quartets in my snout
And see these English planes go burn

Well, you be my witness, how red were the skies
When the fortresses flew for the very last time
    It was dark over Westphalia
    In April of ?45

They hung there dependent from the sky
    Like some heavy metal fruit
These bombers are ripe and ready to tilt
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
Must they live that I might die

Must these Englishmen live that I might die
    Junkers Jumo 004
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
    Junkers Jumo 004
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
    Junkers Jumo 004
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
    Junkers Jumo 004
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
    Junkers Jumo 004
Must these Englishmen live that I might die
    Junkers Jumo 004

    Bombers at twelve o?clock high?

    {Edit}
Well, I found the song (live version) and it's pretty good actually! Good old school Rock 'n Roll... :)

I found it on Kazaa, too bad I haven't got a website to put it on....

To Lem: Shite, looks like I came up with old news!!!!! Well, here's yet another one. "Screaming from the Sky" by Slayer

"I stalk close in from above
Silent wings will test your faith
Death will never hear me pass
    Launch attack you're too late
I hear flak inside my head
    Deafening thunder cities burn
    Carpet-bombing laid to waste
    Throwned inside a death mask

Holy cross embedded in your tomb
Casualities are buried through your mind
Certain death is screaming from the sky...

    I live to destroy below
    Hunted victims are unseen
    Flying wrath a fortress hell
    War machine to kill all
I leave carnage in my wake
    Choking bleeding for your life
    Faceless prey has been erased
    Silence reigns you're dead now

Holy cross embedded in your tomb
Casualities are buried through your mind
Certain death is screaming from the sky....

    [Lead: King]

Listen to the rhythm of a dead man walking
Silent is the heartbeat of the predator stalking
Hear the sound of air feel the warmth touch your neck
Reality is not fair no time to second guess

Hear the distant ringing of the blade as it cuts your neck
Silent is the cry lying on your mattress of blood
An easy mark for a veteran of execution

I walk step by step with death
    Where all bludgeoned bodies lie
You will see my face of rage
Cut your heart out of your chest
Leave impaled the consummation of mankind!!!!"

The lyrics ain't as good as Iron Maiden's songs, but I think the music's better!
