Yep, I already spoke to Rafael too.

The problem is, I don't know, which Yak-1 we use in FH.
In the explaining text (ingame) its titled with 1941. Razorback was from late '41 till '42. Earlier got better view IMHO.

I'll cut out the upper rear armor to make it into an earlier version, even if the 3D model still shows the razorback (to me). It was this, what confused me.

    Check http://wunderwaffe.narod.ru/Magazine/AirWar/32/Draw/index.htm !
    I used this drawings.

    Currently working on P47C.

BTW: Did you check your eMail?

cicero, how about thick anti nose-over frame? could it be made thinner?

p.s. they say razorback yak1 appeared in 1942. and they want 09.jpg-12.jpg cockpit.

    p.s.2 i received p47c.vew and yak1 6:00 art. anything else?

Whats meant by 'anti-nose-over frame'? Can you show me a pic?
Below nice pics of Yak-1, I found.

Yak-1 got not that nice view of Yak-1b or later versions. I hope 'they' love the realism too.

I marked the parts to cut out in red:

pink area is a bit wrong. rear edge of the glass is not vertical.

yak-1b is of 1942 too. it could be taken as yak-3 prototype.

    antinoseover:
1.when landing, cut the engine and push wheel brakes. wait the plane to turn over the nose and fall in it's back. according to dictionnary it's nose-over.
2.now you hang on belts upside down. to prevent your neck from breaking, there's a solid arc. you can see it on six-high. in russian it's named "protivokapotazhnaya rama". the word is probably from french "capotage", but i'm not sure.

almost all planes has such an arc. or frame. but ien painted too thick one on yakovlevs. check your page and you can quickly compare thumbs of 6-view to see that this arc is really much more thick than on other cockpits.
