We of the 312th RAF (Czech) would like some new maps, by way of a change.

 

Oh my... That's every buff pilots wet dream. I remember a He177 raid on a big field in BigMed. About 13 of them, loaded 48x50kg each. We dropped all of them on the field. Orgasm... ORGASM!!!

Can we have New Guinea please?

maybe you are confused about collectors and spenders ?

 

for you to know : i donґt gave any cent but admins are sleeping and let this thread go beyond horizon without giving their official statement with reasons why they change or wonґt change maps/ insert new map.

if they say - no we donґt, cause itґs to complicated, or we donґt have time or are impossible to do such things, itґs also ok like when they say they do but earliest in 3 month or so

but just say something and end this thread - just one ending answer pls

I misunderstood your comment in the last post, it was collected by a german member (torsti). When you sai by 'members' I thought ypu meant the money was donated only by German members. My apologies.

As to the point itself, the money collected is nothing to do with the fact the map has not been changed. It's for an upgrade of the server, not to pay someone to operate it.

Not in terms of the map being changed imo, to be honest.

To change the map, you have to ask an individual to be available to do it. That's a totally different kettle of fish to contributing some money to make the server operate better.

If they upgraded the server, I dunno if it would make that much difference to me and my playability to be honest. In fact, what was donated was probably only enough to keep the server running on an even keel. Systems and connections are better now than 1.5 years ago, so people expect better everything. But in this game, with the limited resources the devs have, we just have to accept that the hardware and software can really only be replaced like with like, not 'upgrraded' as such.

IMO the 700 or so Euros collected is an extremely small price to pay for a community that has had so much enjoyment, even without any improvements for our outlay.
