As being a switcher from pc to Mac I need to get some sticks to start flying again. Previously (in my PC life), I used CH Combat Stick and CH Throttle and I liked those, but now I need to get some new reasonably priced new USB gaming hardware for my mac. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thx.

After a quick glance at your signature, I assume a SideWinder wouldn't be any good... :p

    LOL,

Most people use Logitech or Saitek Spectrum. I think the current Saitek favourite is the X45 but if you can get the Cyborg 3D gold (older version not the enhanced) it is the best IMHO.

Well... I've got a Thrustmaster TopGun Afterburner HOTAS kindalike setup, 'n I must say, it never let me down, additionally, it's a very good price/quality performer... so, you might wanna look into that... I found one recently for as cheap as ?20

I've got a Saitek X-45, and it works like a charm. Works on mac and unix (BSD, Linux) as well!

Yep, got DP 1.8 Ghz G5 with 1.5 GB Ram, sure is beautiful and Panther is something that Windows users can dream of. Although IMO Win XP is very good too :)

    Well, now I'm jealous...

But the FH client wasn't ported to the Mac, I guess. Think you may experiment running the FH client in Virtual PC? I wonder how that would go :)

    Bummer!
This may generate a 'slight' problem. So there's no way to fly FH on Mac (other than VPC)? Any way to connect with a special script or something?

Oh well, if there's no other way I may have to dig out my rusty pentium and try to kick it alive again... but after G5 & OS X, that would be a :ass:

My dad owns a Mac (OS-X) and he was having some problems with it and asked me for advice.

My advice was "Yup, get a PC"

Well, there're 2 kind of suggestions; good suggestions and your suggestions.
I don't know what ever are the reasons for you being so furious to your dad that you are willing to suggest a PC to a man that has used OS X ,but what you did was outrages. Now go and apology berofe he wipes your name from the testament!

    :D

2 years ago when I only had a mac I tried virtual pc to play WB, but without any success. But maybe since the G5 is a more capable machine and system then the old G3's, you should give a try with virtual pc to see what it does. If it dosen't work then no other choice is available for the mac users.
