I was very dissapointed with NFS series. I was a huge fan of NFS1, 2, 3 and 4 but I decided to leave the "road" because of the lack of fun in each version. I mean the game play was always the same, the good thing was the new cars and the fancy new graphics.
Today I got a copy of NFS Underground, I couldnt believe how fun this game was! It's far the best NFS of all!
If you have seen The Fast and The Furious and you loved the cars... well this is it! The game has plenty of cars and you can customize each one of them. You can buy nitro, neon lights, spoilers, tune the engine, everything!
The graphics are also great... the only problem is that the game doesnt have damage effect. So you crash your car and nothing happens, but it doesnt matter.
Get this game... step on the gas pedal and feel how your car shakes... turn on the nitro and fly away!

If you guys have any customized car... post your pic and lets see which one is better looking :)

Well, the graphics are top notch, but when you have played GPL you can only cringe at the NSF:U physics ;)

Nfsu has more "player balance" than simuation...

Yep, I was just posting my opinion there

    :p

Although I was a regular at my town's arcade places, I was always more fond of simulators.

    :)

True rgreat, inside car camera would have been great. Imagine your car with a DVD screen or a brand new digital equalizer.
btw... in the intro video, when the cars are racing you can see that some high powered speakers are being installed inside the hood... can you do that in the game? or is that just in the video and nothing else?
Ok... this is my car Golf GTI:

I don't have much money but I added several improvements to this baby: Turbo, new engine, racing brakes, spoilers, etc.

Recently deleted NFSU, just like the majority in here I prefer sims over arcades (like NFSU), so for example I prefer Gran Turismo...

Here are some of my cars

BTW, you might want to add some side-skirts to that Golf of yours ;)

lol many things are still locked so I can't improve my car like yours til I unlock them.
    Nice looking machines you both.
    Do they have nitro?

btw, I don't like arcade much either... but this is a great game.

Yep, they've got every bell 'n whistle I could find, well, apart from some of the bad looking tweaks or tunes I didn't want to have, but they're fully performance tuned, 'n 95-100% visual tuned I think

BTW, it's fun indeed, but after you've went through the underground mode there ain't much left to do

I don't like machines that can't fly for more than 20 meters....

In fact my car could fly farther than 20m :shuffle:

I got to 105 of 111 and then I got bored :p but I had pretty much all of the possible upgrades, perhaps I didn't have a certain vinyl, so be it...

at 89 111 it could beeeeee:
    Mazda RX-7
    Nissan 350Z
    Acura RSX
eeeerrrr, damn, fuck it, those are just some, probably the one you had isn't mentioned ;)

NFS U is arcade. No fun to play this game. If you like simulations, try this:
    www.liveforspeed.net
it is online simulation, real physics, car tunning (gear, wheels and so on, not that funny stuff like in underground  ). The best car simulator I ever seen.

If you want to be bored play NFS U, if you want to live! play Live for Speed!

    And here is the car:

Heheh! I have something else for you! This little game was created by two brothers from Finland and it's called GeneRally!

Heck, I even have my shitty homepage for it!

    Enjoy!
