What does everyone know about Fh1.52? Post everything you know here so people won't have to go looking for it etc... like new commands, Planes, Ground Veicles, etc.

Would have been nice to know this at the time. :(

Three times I was shot down by this new weapon, as I was trying to deliver troops to a closed field.

I don't have a problem with testing in MA, but I don't see it as fair when ppl are not aware of it, and it interferes with the game play.

Had I have known, I would not have kept trying for the capture.

On a lighter note, it seems very effective, maybe a little too effective.

    regards, Oz

LOL, I remember the quad being tested in MA (!!!) a long time ago as well! Suddenly hmacks could HIT you!!! Was quite a surprise if you ask me... It's bad, testing should be done in TA, but it seems damage settings (esp. for ground targets) are different.

Now, was I a raving lunatic when I lashed out against the tank-wanters (you KNOW who you are!) ???

As it is often quoted in another forum I visit : We're f00ked!

would be nice to have some humna controlled acks, but
    1. limited (come on,20jeeps at small field is bullshit)
    2. movable, but not the way like it's now - it would be much better when controlable by stick
    3. different ack in ros - early lets say 2x7mm and single slow firing 20. Later twin 12 and 37/40mm and last quad 12 or twin 20. guys - don't give us supercannons like quad fast-firing 20mm's it will ruin gameplay
    4. heavier acks should be harder to aim, slower turning, raising etc
    5. Recoil of 4x12 was pretty big, especially at light chasis like jeep or even halftrack. Besides, "moveable" guns were shaking when shooting, so bullets dispersion should be bigger that is now. Present quad 12mm is fuckin' sniper rifle

Was 20mm firing 'pilot seeking' shell, a bit modern of a weapon for WW2 sim IMO

edit - BTW what is all this "distingushed road" / "unknown quanity" stuff?

Hey, hmacks are also crappily small! WTF, 30mm shells exploding around it, nooo, hmack don't take shit! You have to hit the driver between the eyes to kill the damn thing!

Give 'em Wirbelwinds and the lot and we're mightily screwed!

You're right Cgbs, but! - ack cars were NOT targets for fighter, also tanks, trains etc - they were targets for assault planes like Il2, He129, Stuka G, B25G/H. That planes were better armoured, heavier armed, and was flying like mother was teaching - low and slow, while fighters were covering them form other fighters. Giving WELL DONE "ground part" of FH can nicely give some realism. Is closing fields by fighters realistic? I don't think so. Fuck, this ping-pong field capping is just stupid, but OK, that's the rule here. But would be fuckin nice, to give pilots other "jobs", like tank-hunting etc - just like it was in ww2. Leave field, economy and other stationary targets to heavy buffs, moving ground targets (like human controled tanks) to strike planes and sometimes fighters, and other planes to fighters :) BUT: if we need targets for strike planes (what means players driving by tanks) "ground part" have to be done well. Noone will drive a tank if it will be a piece of shit. But i know - it would be done good, there will be new players on arena only driving tanks, fighting tank vs tank and doing as target for us ;)

(sorry if my post is hard too understood... i was celebrating ;) )

Iseriously wish they would make a kill in a hmack a loss of fighter streak etc. It would deter most of the better pilots (in planes and hmacks) from taking them.

Or at least have some kindof restriction i.e 3 max on any one field at any one time.
