I have a problem. When I set all joystick functions to "none" using the WB-Setup, WB does not save the settings. When I restart WB the default settings are loaded again. I have to set everything to "none" because my x45 Joystick runs better with its own programmed buttons. Anyone an idea?
Note: no files are set to read only. The joystick is running perferctly.

    Hints and solutions appreciated ;)

Only thing I can think, did you definitely press 'Apply' after making the changes in the joystick mapper? It's easy to forget something this basic and just exit from the screen without actually saving the changes.

I thought this too. But I tried it. No use. Don't know how this can happen. Hmm...

The only other thing I can think of is if you open the joystick file in your Wb folder (qwb.b50 i think) with wordpad, then manually amend the value that has been set for the joystick buttons. Save the wordpad, and this should amend. f.ex button1 in my joystick file is set to fire both weapons. Delete that entry, and it should unmap the function for button1.

That's all I can think of im afraid.

Don't use "none", i had similar problems with my x45.
Try "foster mount view". For me, it did the trick.

Go to the downloads in IEN's website and down load wbstick. Its a useful joystick program, that will do fantasic things for your flying and shooting.
