it's interesting information, since my chaika is usually destroyed with 2-6x20mm, or else with 4-10x13mm. moreover, rs-82 of chaika don't differ from rs-82 on lagg-3.
therefore chaika's rs' cannot be more precise than lagg's.
rs' trajectory crucially depends launch speed.
having lesser cruising/combat speed in chaika than in lagg/mig/yak, and even lesser than in il2, i state that it is not easier to score hit from chaika than from any of listed above.
my chaika's rs' usually immediatedly fall under my nose.

the only positive things i can name in chaika are:
    unbelievable stability
    extreme turn rate

i haven't listed negative features, including sturdiness, speed and climb rate and especially firepower.

cc- 2-5x20 and I153 is out... but my point is that it's irritating when you fly gold and encounter a I153 in 1944... ok- it's a fair jabo in 1940, a punny jabo/fiter in 1941... but in 1944 it's almost unbeatable when flown in tight turns and used to defend a field... I've seen a half of dozen of 190's and 109G's trying to kill a single chaika (kernel IIRC) defending a field in 1944 finally I've scored a kill over it, but it was only after the chaika scored a kill on our ju. It's a real nonsense to keep this plane in RPS for so long imho.

It can hunt troop transports... enough to prevent a field from being captured

Interesting that the same materials are being used to build most planes, yet you claim late war they are less usefull? I think you mean less effective, and 7mm really isnt anyway. And if it isnt threatening, please, let me stay d1.5 in a ki27 following you because 7mm and ki27 are obsolete, i15 has much more ammo, 2 more 7mm mg's, and all are basicly cowl mounted if not truely. Its still as effective on transports as it was in the biggening of the war.

Interesting also that I SAID that the rockets on the i15 and i16 are late war rockets with a much better desighn, I dont really care what plane they are in, but to have a latter war rocket available in the biggening of the war in a late war engine modle plane.....WEIRD!? <_< >_> conspiracy is such a harsh word.

rs-82 is a 1937 design. I wonder which war ("late war rockets") you have in mind :D

By refering to late war rockets I am refering to the U.S's HVAR's and German a2a rockets.

I'll consider it more as a sad situation rather than funny...

I played AH and wasn't happy at all ;)
All settings were designed for "mass customer", totally unrealistic - strange streaks, all planes 4 all sides, mission counted only if landed and so on...
