Hmmm... Maybe it's a good idea to ask for a BW-239 model?... Doku, how do you think, should it help to bring us some more Finnish players? ------------------ -- With respect, Pavel Pavlov, wb:boroda Commissar 25th IAP VVS

Brewster B-239 was best finnish early war fighter in fenno-russian war. Kill ratio was about 25:1... I am sure Brewster would bring more finns to FH. In AH finns have been wanting Brewster many years Here are some links: http://www.saunalahti.fi/~mikkojku/gzr/bw239.html http://www.sci.fi/~ambush/faf/brewster.html http://www.hkkk.fi/~yrjola/war/faf/brewster.html Comments -illo-, -kp--- -doku- [This message has been edited by -doku- (edited 10 January 2001).]
Brewster was entered in the "Guinness Book of Records" on two points: 1. By the end of the War 44 Brewster that were listed in the Finish military AF in 1941, shot down 477 enemy airplanes. This is 10,8 victories for one airplane- unsurpassed result! 2. Another unsurpassed result - is the amount of shot down planes by one specific plane. Finish pilot on Brewster-353 had shot down 41 planes. -doku-
