ok, i was looking at your guys tech data and some other tech data based on the planes in RW. here are some things i find

G10 climb rate: was 1200m, you guys have it set at 1097

G10 Speed: Was 619km/hmax you guys have set at 600km/h

HP: you guys have set at 1290 i read it was 1850

those are just some. i got this info at http://members.nbci.com/ssherman54/air_specs.html

it did not cover all the specs i will look for other charts that cover everything your chart does so i can compare

Just look at La 5FN HP. Here it's 1150 instead of 1850.

We have been talking about this matter. In WB all planes are in "lowered" performance levels compared to RL! And if ANY plane done in RL specs it would much better!!!!! In my opinion we dont need no "uber" planes, just a plane what is in balance with other planes.

i know the planes were lowered in standerds to make the game "balanced" but if this is suppose to be a sim then i think they should be to RW specs.

I have printed out the spec page on FH webpage and im going to look at other data and try to make an accurate spec chart. if FH decides to use it is totaly up to them, but hopefuly i'll be done with in a month or so

    Hi guys,

first it is very good that FH people put so much work to create new planes.
BUT- if you create a plane it should be realistic.
The G10 was built on converted G6 airframes with stronger engine and weapon , pessured cockpit and Erla Haube (canopy).
So the 109 K should be your plane for a G10 model (optic plus a bit less performance).

The G6R6 based G10 I flew yesterday was a bad joke...

Please if you want to create a simulation instead a "Quake" game take it serious...it is important for your great reputation in the community.

    Best regards Alexej

    Agree,
this "Sherman" forum is not what we understand as a well informed source. May it is our german mentality to do everything as accurat as possible (Look at german cars and compare them with US cars...).

    Bottomline:
When I play a sim I want to play it as real as possible and I require as good models.

    Balance:
OK, only Germany had the 262 late 44'. But didn't we fly our old 109G's not vs P51's and Spit IX?
The game should stay as real as possible. As a solution I suggest to offer the 262 late 44' only from 3-4 selected fields. This give the allies the oppurtunity to cap the fields with their B17's and B24's and put axis in a situation to protect the fields with 109's vs outstanding p51, yak and spit's.

    What is your opinion?

    Best regards Alexej Adjudant JG26

you know who Janes is dont you? they are only considered to be the best in the military data industry. They are not government yet are the only civie company to have a office in the Pentagon. So seeing how they are not owned by a country there facts will not be distorted to boost ones countrys planes while out class others.

I look at German cars from the rear view mirror of my Corvette (although it's built by GM of Canada ;-)

    Hi all,

I tried flying here last night and kept getting kicked but was there long enough to meet an I-16. I was in an A6m2. Well, it seemed quite capeable of flying rings round a zero! Apart from the fact that you don't expect to meet Jap planes on the opposing side when you are flying one yourself, it seems like an uber plane to me.

I swapped sides to try it. It's a mini star ship!
