Here is the rolling planeset as of recent. I captured the webpage, put it in MS Word and took out the extra junk. I then captured it into PSP and saved the screens with the needed info on them into the .pcx format. This is for 1024x768. I'll try to get this setup for the lower rez but my monitor goes blank when in the game so I can't see what it looks like! I'll try though.

No more people wondering what planes come next, and those that want the plane number will have the info that some other pilot can give.

Now I think this is something useful for everyone!! :D

    Enjoy!! :)

BTW...maybe this could be made sticky?

I tried to open it, fox, it just came out as gibberish :dunno:

It was just an amalgamation of random letters and symbols... anyone else have the same problem?

I forgot to give some instructions I guess.
Ok, you'll need to change the filename from "WBFH Plane Set.zip.txt" to "WBFH Plane Set.zip" and open the file with WinZip. Copy the image files to your "C:\iEntertainment Network\Warbirds" directory. I would backup the files there already if you want. Just rename them to "misc.backup.pcx" and "custom.backup.pcx".

when downloading a file, and it stops at say... 1.29mb, and its rate of transfer doesnt even glitch, yet the files keep getting put into the folder "nice animated thingie at top" does that mean the download is still in progress?

I had this idea a couple years ago and used it only for myself and for a friend. Having not updated it in a while I changed the list and thought this time to share it :)

    wow...
in xxi century i strongly recommend you to get familiar with those computers.
it's extremely usefull and funny stuff. not saying it becomes critical.
you're missing a lot and you can miss even more.

    LOL :) Good one.

@ Allsop: It means the connection has probably died on it. Although you probably know that by now.

Although some times it does get going again, but in my experience usually not. Use a download manager that lets you begin the download again from where it stopped. Or a different browser. Mozilla has the download manager feature and I downloaded at around 20kbps faster than I did through IE. But after a nice start with it, it went very unstable on my system, so im back with IE.

I used to use GetRight before I got pipeline internet. Works very good with resuming downloads and finding alternates.

    I don't know, exec.

I know more than enough to be more than savvy with operating systems and stuff, I used to know C++ and Java and shit like that too.

But then I realized I'm not going to be using it in a work environment because I'd rather hang myself before I sit at a computer for hours a day.

Computers really aren't that cool for me in general, I'd rather be outside or doing something that's more relevant to me. But hey, more power to you if you know a lot! :)

There's a question bugging me afi, hope you dont mind me asking :)

Why would you want this thing anyway, are you flying again? Im sure the last time I seen you make mention of Wb, you said you didnt fly anymore and hadnt for a while?

    Sorry, just curious :)

Edit: Just to clarify, my question is more 'are you flying again?' than 'why do you want something you dont need?' ;)

Heya guys. I just bored a little, so I updated a Maletin's RPS keyhelp.

    http://www.laxtsc302.republika.pl/warbirds/rpsupd.pcx

Do not download a picture below, it was converted to JPG to take a look (server restrict a pcx file).

Use : replace one of help screens used under F4 button.

I hope You enjoy that keyhelper.

I couldn't find similar font, but imho it look not bad. I changed also plane numbers to new, like 11 for 111.

All copyrights belongs to Maletin :)
