Please, keep in mind that Greif is represented with A-3/R2 model.
They just made a heavy bomber to counter B-24/B-17.
Most marvelous things such as Hs.293, BK75 are for other models.

on a other data sheet it displayed Vmax510kmh

i really dont know but when 510kmh would be TAS

    then could be 480kmh IAS

Do you have performance charts of He-177A-3?
    Send it to me mail2duc@stones.com.

until someone provide verbose technical data. should RGreat remove Greif until then?

Aren't you careful saying it? [IMG]

I provided all the data I knew to RGreat.
    That included:
    Code:
                   A-1 A-5
    Empty weight 16100kg 16800kg
    Normal T.O. w. 30000kg 31000kg
    Eng.power 2*2700hp 2*2950hp t.o.
                                   2*3100hp@2100m
    Top.spd 510km/h@5800m 485km/h@6000m(27225kg)
                                   395km/h@S/L(27225kg)
                                   435km/h@6000m(31000kg)
                                   472km/h@?(18100kg)
    Cru.spd 430km/h@5500m 415km/h@6000m
    Max.climb rate 195m/min
    Srv.ceiling 7000m 7080m/8000m?
    Norm.load 2000kg 2000kg
    Max.load 4000-5600kg 2000kg+2items*
    Weapon (too long to quote)

    *items - 2 LMA-III mines or LT-50 torpedoes or Hs-293 missiles or Fritz-X-1400 missiles

    Warbirds Resource Group\Luftwaffe
    German "Flying Fortress"
See sources of data at urls

A-3's performance is not listed at any of references mentionned [IMG]

    Since A-1 is not combat-ready, and A-5 is anti-ship missile-carrier, we decided to model A-3 - a pure bomber.
Though, A-3 is not the most numerous model (A-1:130pc, A-3:170pc, A-5:565, all:1170 including tests and preproduction).

Hope RGreat took some average between A-1 and A-5 [IMG]

I was suprised when Greif handled like Ju-88, having similar climb and roll characteristics.
Personally I've just tested turrets, bomb load and graphics.
And I have not tested flight data of FH-Greif-A3.

Post Scriptum: ICI left most of planes with not realistic flight data, creating some balanced game.
We must be carefull when bringing single airplanes to authentic behaviour, because it may harm the fragile game relations.
(Finally, RGreat plans to bring all the aircrafts to real performance at once)

Grobar: can you add something to things I said?

sorry, forgot to put the question mark. [IMG]
i was just pointing out the impression that the previous posts leave

do they coincide in the data?

i know what is it like - i worked on the Belgrade scenario. [IMG]

plz don`t take all my words so bad, i have only positive feeling towards you

    But its Real
    >>only 8 x 250kg bombs = 2000kg ? second joke
How about 4x250 (at long ranges [IMG])?
8x250 its medium range load...added 12x250 (& so to other kg's) close range load due to game balance reasons (as b17 too have close range loads)

the vmax in 6000 meters IAS 330 ~ TAS 430. one more joke
Handling & speeds will be revised... as i already sad he177 is just beta test version now...

Intersecting data match each other. Other data are complementary. The only contradiction I see is service ceiling of A-5.

    2 RGreat:
1.Please, check the roll rate of the Greif. I have no data on it, but I believe that it should be equivalent to Liberator's. As long as yaw and pitch.
2.I love the aerial dive brakes, but A-3 hasn't them... But I love the aerial dive brakes. Decide yourself [IMG]
