In regard to the recent post about the changes on FH (namely the fuel changes and stuff, which I like [IMG] ), I saw something that piked my curiosity...

I saw damage values for runways. (or did I mistake it for something else?)

So, I ask here... can a runway be destroyed? I don't mean cratering it, that's possible and, while not general practice, sometimes it's done. What I mean is to really blast it to pieces...

And, if it is possible, what are the consequences for that?

Yes they can be destroyed but it takes alot to do it. Maybe get like a couple B-17 in the air with 1000 pound bombs and drop them all on the runway it will go boom. All that happens though is it turns to like dirt and can still be taken off from and landed on

Rcosta what fuel changes? and what other recent FreeHost changes? I did a search and can't find it. Please tell me or point me in the direction of this information.

    Thanks.

    See you in the air.

Yes it is possible and it is not that hard to do (see the damage data in the table).

It happens when too many bombs have missed their target and fallen on runway or taxy lanes. It disappeares from screen (becomes brown) but this doesnt hinder planes at all.

Snoop, see forum section "News and Announces"

WTG guys! I especially like the 3000sec limit (checked it several times - it still equals 50min!!!)

The fuel restrictions when fuel tanks are blown and radio dead restricting comms.

I found the announcement, thanks Rcosta.

I have a question. Can an item that has already been destroyed be hit and damaged further to make it take longer to regenerate?

AFAIK... No, because when the item is destroyed it disappears from the FE. Also, if it isn't there, it can't be hit (obviously).

Remember, damage is calculated on server and the FE only reports hits. If the FE can't hit it, it can't be damaged.

Can you drop two bombs at once? I`ve noticed dmg is calculated a bit after bomb explodes (or is it just my lag?) so maybe it will take account of both bombs?

Speaking of runways - I've just landed on a field w/o a runway, and it said I ditched. Just FYI. [IMG]
