[yes, sorry for another Kursk post]

Whoever got the Kursk arena rolling needs a big pat on the back. Very cool guys. I flew a few sorties on the last day, which were my first sorties in a couple of weeks(uugghh). These were some of the most exciting I've seen in months of play. The benefits have already been stated by my fellow pilots.

Based on the difficulty of setting up a special arena, how hard would it be to make more arenas in variety(BOB, Pacific, Africa, etc)?/ and rotate them?: 1 special arena every 2 weeks for 3 days, or, every weekend(Friday night thru Sunday), or, 1 day a week, etc, etc.
Just for starters, how about the Kursk arena for a couple of days every 2 weeks or so>>>>>implement a schedule and see what happens.

I think a lot of pilots here would be stoked, and the FreeHost server would get overloaded from the amount of pilot ecstacy seeping through the proxies.

    Lem

I tell you how do i feel playing on the actual map after having experienced much more challenging sorties at the Kursk.
    ******************************
    *********i feel sick**********
    ******************************

The same u way u would feel after playing chess and winning a game against Gary Kasparov(World Chess Champion) then go play against a 6 years old blind tard.

Im pretty sure u will figure out thats much more fun and challenging to drink a "barrel" of vodka and go swim on the North Sea till u arrive on the Arctic Sea and go find the North Pole.

Maybe u can do this....really drunk.

    hi hans haupt,

    what does it mean:
"playing and winning against gary kasparow (world champion)"?

does it mean, you have battled and won against all the first ranks in "kursk"? and now you don't wanna combat anymore against those stumble pilots that fly in ordinary map?

or does it mean, after you have freed some hidden skills in "kursk", that made you a winner, you don't want to engage for some blind newbies, because you can't use these skills anymore?

    it's not a good comparison, i think!

    best wishes

    Its very simple.
Means that after playing a game with harder configuration, going back to "easy mode" is not fun.

Its to much obvious, but i have enouth patience to answer ur flaming post.
Also, im having more fun on this board then in WB arena with actual configurations. ;)

Lets drink a beer and talk about it

    hi hans haupt,

hehe, i have also some time: waiting for a new computer, which will make my plane faster and more turnable than everybody else's! even my monitor will resolute up to 1600x1280 :p
    (no, it doesn't)

    seriously:
i don't like beer, but anything else :)
and i engage this "kursk" topics only, because i feel like "must answer" to some posts. the ways the authors argue let me contribute...
for me i haven't found an answer to "kursk"-settings, that's i can say to make my attitude to the main theme clear.

so, hope we mmet in arena soon and have no more time for this (excellent) forum. and please let me stay more then a minute in air. and let's have a drink in the casino afterwards.

    best wishes

    ps:
is it an idea? adding a virtual casino to the arena, where we all meet with avatars? and laugh about last sortie, or handle out quarrels with avatar's fists? :D

It's not so dificult to implement that, it's like small scenarios every 2-3weeks, but without the objectives planning...

If admins need someone to do this job, I'll be glad to take it.
