    Kopi
"So if you are happy when game model planes using some propaganda reports then fine but im not happy with it."

Your info can be viewed as propaganda. The Nazi's were very famous for it eh!? Here practice for this

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5032538990033127959&q=Spitfire&pl=true

    And

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3272592043334558474&q=Spitfire&pl=true

Now go get into a ki-61 (either varient) and kick spit9's ass in a turn! IMHO if you want target drones fly offline and practice!

Alt min =1000 Alt max =1040
    t = 17.8c :)

уже лучше, продолжай дальше тренироваться - расброс по высоте большой.

p.s я надеюсь ты сразу стартуешь на 1000м? а не забираешся туда, а то ведь топлива у тебя не 100% будет :)

i guess a statement in english, from the devs, on this topic would be nice. because it's important matter to the players (u know, to their trust in FM).
or is it possible to have a translation of bw's posts by a russian speaker?

(i guess bw's saying that kopi didn't use the correct testing method, right?)

    @vasco
BW's requirements for tests on TA are:
    100% + WEP + 100%fuel, data from 3 circles on 1000m of alt

Kopi's data is inapropriate (according to BW) becuase:
in first case he entered the circles at 1000 and finished at 956
in the second case he entered at 1000 and finished at 1040 (in both cases circling at less than 18/s per a full turn)

-bw- will only accept data with less than 1% of drop/climb- so the end of manouver should be at 1000m +/- 10m

-bw- also asked if kopi was starting at 1000m or climbing to it from ground, to know if he was really carrying 100% or a few percent less fuel.

Time in log 00:43:10 Az 166 alt 1004
00:43:26,5 168 1012 16,5 in slight climb but speed is droping thats why 16,5
    00:43:30 243 1013
    00:43:47,5 242 1030 17,5 in slight climb
    00:44:08 311 1017
    00:44:25,5 313 1029 17,5 in slight climb

I took data from 3 turns in the middle when i wasnt typing .starlog at begining and .stoplog at the end :p
As you see its more to 17s or 17,5 then to 18 s.
Ill make more precice log later as i dont have time for it now but anyone can agree that its true when i say

    FIX THE GOD DAMN SPIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BW is a lot more strict than the USFAA...did you encounter your own wake vorticies?

Hi -kopi-. Do you know what speed automatic slots works in 109? When that device works does it provided increase in wing area or lift force? If did it, numbers can be better to 109 than those shown.

it does it more by decreasing angle of attack than anything else.
triggered by the stall warning sensor, iirc

BTW : You can test all these things using FSBSIM batch mode with some scripts and a full description of the aircraft in question...

Slats in 109G move freely on a pair of rails (there were a few more problems with the earlier swing-arm operated versions). They can be pushed back or pulled out without effort while on the ground.
In the air the airflow keeps the slats closed, but with when the air "unsticks" from the wing surface the slats are extended under aerodynamic pressure. Simple as that.

As a sidenote, it was common practice to close slats when the aircraft was parked to prevent dust from gathering in the mechanism.

such as it is common practice to close the canopy, so the dust (and water) doesn't gather inside - so what else is new? :p

    Which 109 and Spit? :D

btw, on the first page the report suggests that german pilots might be able to withstand higher G's.... so were the RAF pilots in bad shape?

    :D

The report says 9th June 1940, so i'd suspect Spit I, Hurr I and Emil.
