First off ty for the links....But it just makes the insult worse to read about how well some of these planes handled and all the things they did and then we go to the MA....We all know how disappointing that is...

Thanks, lots of good information there. Looking at so much good stuff is like looking at p0rN, because it's easy to become distracted and forget to give thanks ;)

    Good links.
Oh, and um, Far north... What the hell makes anyone [especially someone FROM there] think it should be cold this time of the year?
Where I am [north, not far north but, well, way north, um, well maybe not way north, but well, something north 50 degrees latitude... uh, isn't that, um, North of most stuff???]...
Okay. What was I saying before I got lost between parentheses?:
Where I am, dawn is 04:30 and dusk is 22:00. Which means the sun gets to bake people in the northern latitudes for long periods of daylight hours up here.

The mosquitos in the northern hemisphere are mighty. Ponds are frozen for much of the year [the eggs don't give a damn what temp the water is] and then when the water warms up in the spring, the warmth is intense [see duration of daylight wooze, above] and the mosquitos are LARGE and AGGRESSIVE:

Fly swatter don't work, that just stuns them, they spin to the ground, trailing smoke then they crawl away and hide, waiting to try again.

[did you know, they ones that whine, make a whining sound, as they cruise around your ear, well, those ones don't bite.
    Hmm.
I always wondered about that. If the ones making the little whining sound don't bite, then WHY DO THEY FLY IN LITTLE CIRCLES AROUND MY SWEATY, HOT NECK AND GOIN UP MY NOSE AND GETTIN IN MY EYES?
