Try checking RAM chips, if they get burned such nasty things tend to happen even though the system may seem to be stable. There are programs in the net that can thoroughly test you RAM.

    Please describe your problem.

What is your OS? Did you try to switch video mode 2d/3d? Can you fly offline? Can you enter TA/SA? Can you enter wbchat? Do you see arena list? What is the error message? When game freeze (in 30sec after take off, on login, while entering arena, etc)? Etc.

This may also happen if your CPU overheats. I had this happen to me a lot on my old Athlon XP 2200. For some reason, WB is rather demanding on the CPU. Maybe open your computer and carefully clean the insides, especially the CPU fan and the power supply fan, to ensure your CPU is cooled adequately.

This problem had been already discussed. I didn't remember for sure, but there are some process (or/and trojan) named something like "msiexec.exe".

Please check for the processe named similar to "msiexec.exe" and try kill it using Task Manager.

If this doesn't help please post your process list screen shot here.

God damned! It's over! You have to burn your PC and sterylize enybody who were closer than 10m! Trojan mixer is one of the deadliest ever created. Made by enigmatic "The Mixer" - unknown brother of Bill Gates. Bill was interested in operating systems, mixer was maniac of jeep simulators...

Are all your cards inside the PC seated in their slots properly?
Go in and give em all a gentle wiggle.

    1. Set all (bud HDDs) bios settings to default
    2. Set windows pulpit to 16k (not 32k) colours
    3. Use chkdsk for lost clusters
    4. Update drivers for vide/mainboard
    5(!). Check for trojans/viruses
    6. Check for spyware/maleware (use search&destroy + Lavasoft Adaware)

Ad.1 After system reset (black screen) watch carefouly for communicat sth. like that - "Press DEL (or F1/F12/etc. depends of BIOS) to run BIOS setup". Than choose "Default settings" when in BIOS. BUT if U didn't ever change anything in BIOS than I would don't touch it.

Ad.2 In file explorer click right mouse on HDD drive You installed Warbirds. Find "propoerities" (or sth like that) and look for fist tool in "Tools".

That try kill most extra processes and launch FHL/warbirds. Or try do vice versa.. kill one process after another and go check warbirds every time. You can try enter the jeep as well, if bug exists your jeep be locked in 30sec or so after appearance at field.

The problem is in some incompatibility of warbirds with some process already running. Please try remember which programs you had installed recently and check for running processes of such programs first of all. It could be any process, even some legal windows process. MSN or even that.. started from mi... :)

    LMAO Holmes :)

Note: you have to check for warbirds working online, cause AFAIK this bug appears only in online.

Of course it could be some trojan/virus. You can put your full process list here and we will count them ;)

msnmsgr.exe= Messenger. aaaaargh! I would kill it. But you can't. If you don't use special programs to kill it, fe XP-antispy or such.

msmsgs.exe= messenger executable. IF it's located in
C:\Program Files\Messenger folder. If not, it might be a trojan.
    See http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/msmsgs.exe.html for info

mixer.exe= Probably soundcard file. For C-Media onbaord sound.

    google, priceless! :)

Seriously, just google for "blahblah.exe" and you can find a lot directly, not having to deepsearch (although deep penetration is nice ;) ) the AV webpages...
